BRYLIE sighs as she watches the man she's with brags about himself. Ayaw tumigil sa pagdaldal ng lalaki at puro sarili lang ang kinukwento. It's all about what he achieved, how much money he has, how expensive his clothes are and etc. It's annoying.
"And, you know how much this watch is? I've bought it from Paris just last night. It costs 2.3 Million pesos and it's a limited edition watch," the man brags.
Why did I agree in this blind date again?
Brylie sighed boredly as she ate her food. Nawawalan na rin siya ng ganang kumain. Bakit ba kasi siya pumayag sa blind date na ito?
Brylie endures those torturous hours and finally, she could go home. Hindi na siya nag-abalang magpaalam sa lalaki. Umalis na lang siya kaagad at umuwi. Pagdating niya sa bahay nila, naabutan niya ang ate niya na abala sa mga papeles.
"How's the blind date?" Winna asked her without tearing her gaze away from the papers.
Brylie sighs and flopped herself on the couch beside her sister. "Boring," tipid na sabi niya.
Winna chuckled. "Tigilan mo na kasi. Kahit naman gaano karami maka-blind date mo, alam ko na siya pa rin ang nasa puso mo," Winna raised her brows and smirks at her sister.
Brylie rolled her eyes. "Ma-issue ka. Matagal na 'yon, 'no."
Tinawanan lang siya ni Winna. "Uuwi tayo sa Pilipinas. Natawagan ko na si Roi," sabi nito. Brylie was confused as to why her sister said that.
"Pumayag si Papa?"
Winna nodded. "We helped him closed that big deal, right? Nasa good mood siya kaya napayagan tayong umuwi," sabi nito.
Brylie was glad that their father let them go to the Philippines. At least, he lets them see Roi. She misses their little brother so bad so, it's a good thing.
Nang makarating sila sa Pilipinas, sumalubong sa kanila ang kapatid nilang si Roi na balot na balot. Agad nilang niyakap ang kapatid.
"Tara na sa sasakyan at baka may makakilala sa 'yo dito," Brylie said.
Roi Niccolo looked like a sleepless monster. Ang laki ng eyebags nito dahil siguro sa pagod sa promotion period nila sa album. Nagkwentuhan lang sila hanggang sa makarating sa condo ng Atlantis. Excited na rin silang makita ang mga kagrupo ni Roi dahil naging malapit na rin sila dito.
"Uy, sakto pala! May pasalubong ako kay Ruiz! For sure, magugustuhan niya 'yong binili kong beanie!"
"'Yong totoo, ate? Sino ba talaga ang kapatid mo? Ako o si Ru?" nakasimangot si Roi dahil sa kapatid.
"Ikaw pero, ano ka ba naman! Ang cute kaya ni Ruiz! Bias ko nga 'yon!"
Binalingan ni Roi si Brylie na nananahimik lang. "Kumusta date mo, 'te? Pasado ba?"
Brylie glance at him and glared. "Tsismoso ka." Brylie knows what her brother is about to say and she expected it.
"Nandiyan naman si Bench, sa'yong sa 'yo na para hindi na magsungi— oww!" Hindi napigilan ni Brylie na sikuhin ang tiyan ni Roi na ikinadaing ng kapatid.
Brylie immediately avoids looking at Bench. Nakita niya ang pagtayo nito pero, hindi niya pinansin. She was trying to avoid that man but, hell... he's walking towards her!
"You can take a seat there," sabi sa kaniya ni Bench at tinuro ang upuan nito kanina. Brylie just nodded and proceeds to the seat.
Gagawin niya ang lahat para hindi kausapin si Bench. Itataga niya 'yan sa bato.
