Riley's POV
Buti nalang Friday ngayon kasi 11 AM palang yung pagod ko sagad na. Makakapag unwind ako bukas.
I'm in charge of conducting developmental assessments sa mga bata. I also do shadowing kapag nag ka conduct ng assessment interview si Doc.
Nung nag lunch, sa labas ako kumain. Although may free meal sa clinic, sa labas ako kumain kasi sobrang na drain ako sa patient ko kanina. He's up for testing as he's showing signs of ADHD.
While having my lunch in a cafe near the clinic, I saw a familiar face sitting right in front of me. I'm trying to remember who she is...
Oh... Si crush. Hindi si Miss mapapaluhod ako because of her morning voice, kundi si Ate Nita.
Yes, I know her name because I met her last night sa bar. Crush na crush ko si ate Nita kasi Psychology major din siya and ang sarap niya kausap. Licensed Psychometrician na rin siya and she's currently taking her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology.
Ang smart niya and I learned a lot from her. She's the definition of beauty and brains.
If... may liligawan ako sa mga crush ko, siya talaga pipiliin ko.
I smiled at her but she did not smile back at me. It seems like she's trying to figure out who the hell I am. Ouch. I guess, she doesn't remember me. Should I cross out her in my crush list?
Since she didn't smile at me I continue eating my lunch slash breakfast.
While I'm eating my croissant, may umupo sa harap ko, which is hindi ko kilala.
Paano ko makikilala naka cap and mask siya.
Bigla kong kinuha at niyakap yung bag ko kasi baka mamaya kawatan to eh.
"C.. can I sit here?" nahihiyang tanong niya.
"Miss nakaupo ka na eh." malditang sagot ko.
"Oh, sorry I'll just sit there-" aalis na sana siya papunta sa kabilang table pero hinila ko yung wrist niya para pigilan siya.
"Miss it's okay you can sit here, ikaw naman joke lang eh." ngiting sabi ko. She look at my hand holding her wrist at bigla ko yun binitawan.
Medyo puno kasi sa cafe, lunch eh. So okay lang na umupo siya dito.

She is quietly sitting in front of me. Wala siyang order. She just sat there and it seems like she's... sleeping?? Wtf??
"Miss excuse me are you oka-" hindi na natapos yung sasabihin ko kasi...
"Riley? Hello! Sorry hindi agad kita nakilala!" masiglang sabi ni ate Nita.
Oh my god. Natandaan ako ni crush. Kinikilig ako.
"Oh hi ate Nita! Akala ko hindi mo na ako naalala eh." malungkot na sabi ko. Arte lang.
She smiled at me. Tinanong niya if pwede makiupo and syempre pumayag ako. Pero wala paring kibo yung babae dito sa harap ko. Tulog nga ata.
"You look good in your uniform Riley, how's your day?" tanong ni ate Nita.
"Medyo hectic nga po eh 11 AM palang pagod na."
Habang nag uusap kami ni ate Nita, siguro mga after 10 mins, gumalaw na yung babaeng natutulog sa harap namin.
She removed her mask and SHE DRANK MY CRUSH'S COFFEE?

Pero wait what?
"You need to get rid of that habit Ren." sabi ni ate Nita dun sa babaeng oh my god her lips... bagong crush ba ulit to, I'll wait till I see her face then I'll decide.
Amacana accla.
"What habit?" she said in her morning voice.
That voice sounds famil-
"What the fuck, Mommy?" sabi ko sa isip ko.
They are now both looking at me.
"Oh sorry did I say it out loud?" yung mga inner thoughts ko talaga pahamak eh.
Tumawa si ate Nita then tinanggal nung babae yung cap niya. Yes, it's her. Nakita ko ngumisi siya. Alam niya na siya yung tinawag ko na Mommy.
Muntik na ako mayari ni Doc Tristan dahil sayo bwisit ka. Pero crush padin kita.
She's now looking at me and I've noticed that her eyes are puffy and it looks... tired. I immediately break eye contact because her eyes are so intimidating. Kahit mukang pagod.

Tinatapos ko nalang yung pagkain ko. Actually nakikinig nalang ako sa usapan nila. I don't know if they're friends or what basta ate Nita is grilling... um... Miss Ren... for drinking three days straight.
It seems like she has a problem? I don't know.
Nung natapos na ako dun sa pagkain ko, nag excuse na ako sa kanila. Grabe parang hangin nalang ako kanina nung nag uusap sila.
"Ate Nita, it's good to see you again. Sana magkita tayo ulit." I said and give her my best smile.
"If we meet again, you owe me a date ha?" malambing na sabi niya. OMG may kalandian stage na si Riley? Hindi crush crush lang?
"Tss, flirt." sabi ni Miss Ren sabay irap kay ate Nita.
I look at Miss Ren and nakita ko nakatingin siya sakin. And again, umiwas agad ako.
