Ren and Riley did not attend their Saturday get-together because they were too busy preparing for their wedding.

Dalawang beses na silang absent.

And the gang hasn't seen them for two weeks already.

"Akala ko sa December pa? Why are they rushing the wedding?" nagtatakang tanong ni Martha.

The usual, they are in Martha's house. All of them aside from Ren and Riley.

"Why do you sound like you're the one being rushed teh? Ikaw ikakasal?" seryoso pero mapang asar na tanong ni Jenna sa ate niya.

Pinanlisikan lang siya ng mata ni Martha.

"I asked Ren and she said they have plans that they want to accomplish this year." paglilinaw ni Tristan.

"Ohh I see, sana lahat may plano." tumatangong sagot ni Martha, tinawanan lang siya ni Jenna at Nita.

"Did you guys know?" seryosong tanong ni Tristan kaya lahat sila napatingin sa kanya.

Hindi siya nag salita agad.

"Huh? Pakaba ka kuya Tristan." si Jenna lang yung madaldal sa tatlong bibe.

There's something off between Lily and Jenna, and how they interact with each other, but no one has noticed it yet. Si Marcus lang kasi siya yung naiipit sa dalawa.

"They are planning to adopt Lai."

"Oh my god! Talaga?!" natutuwa at excited na tanong ni Nita.

They are all happy about the idea because Lai is an orphan, and her parents are both dead.

"Oh sorry, not planning..." Tristan clears his throat, "They will surely do. I think they will also work on that this year. Although the process is lengthy, siguro next year okay na." he explained.

"Do you guys think they have plans to have their own child?" tanong ni Nita sa kanila.

"Tanong mo si Riley," walang reaksyon pero sarcastic na sagot ni Lily. Hindi nagustuhan ni Nita yung tono niya.

Nataranta bigla si Marcus sa sagot ng kaibigan niya.

Si Jenna na minsan lang mag seryoso ay masamang nakatingin kay Lily.

"P-pati si ate Ren! Tanong nalang natin sa kanila." kinakabahan na dagdag ni Marcus.

Tristan noticed that Jenna and Lily exchanged cold glances.

"Lily," malalim at serosong tawag ni Nita sa kapatid niya kaya napalingon si Tristan at Martha sa kanya. She rolled her eyes when Lily looked at her with her bitchy face.

"Why are you being bitchy all of a sudden?" kalmado pero may diin na tanong niya.

Ngumisi si Jenna.

Si Marcus tuloy pa rin sa kaba niya.

"Hey Nita, talk to her nicely." pakiusap ni Tristan, si Martha nakatingin lang kay Nita. She knows that Nita has a lot of questions for the three of them but she's refraining herself from asking. Martha also noticed that something is off but she will wait for them to open up.

"I am talking to her nicely, Tristan."

"Hayaan mo na Tris, mas malala pa kami ni Jenna mag usap sa dalawang yan. That's normal between sisters." pabirong sabi ni Martha, to lighten up the mood.

"Anyway! Sure naman tayo lahat no? Sabay sabay tayo ng flight ha?" excited na sabi ni Martha. The mood is still dull and Martha is doing her best to brighten it up.
