Ava

She thought there was nothing that could make her's and Bea's situation even worse, but turns out there is. So now, they don't even know when the day of their possible death will come.

Mother Superion walked to her window, whispering "you can go now. Prepare yourselves as much as you can. We have no time to waste now."

Ava got up from Bea's lap, walking out of the door quickly.

"Ava wait!" She heard Beatrice shout behind her. Her voice was trembling as if she was ready to cry. And Ava didn't want her to cry, so she stopped.

Bea's arms wrapped around her waist as she burdened her head into the crook of Ava's neck. That was the last straw for both of them, and they started sobbing quietly.

"We can do it," Bea said after a little while. Ava wanted to believe that so badly, but it wasn't easy.

When Beatrice didn't get any answer, she pulled back to look into Ava's eyes.

"I said we can do it, okay?" She said once again, and Ava could nothing but nod. "Remember what we always said?" She asked and Ava wiped off her tears with one of her hands.

"Of course, I know. In this life or the next."

Bea smiled. "In this life or the next, my darling."

The end.
