"What are you doing?!" a booming voice echoed from behind her. The overwhelming strength behind the simple answer that contained a raw ounce of anger and fear sent Eun tak's body to tremble at the unexpected voice.
She was so focused and absorbed into the pages of the diary, Eun tak was not aware of the looming shadow that stood behind for the past few seconds.
Bored from sitting in the same room and doing nothing, Eun tak stepped out to go to the kitchen and feast upon something tasty. On the way, she stretched her arms upwards and rotated her neck side to side when she happened to notice the younger girl's bedroom door wide open.
Halting in her steps, Eun tak dropped her hands on either side of her waist and tilted her head in a curious manner.
Won't hurt to make a pit stop
Politely knocking on the wooden door she waited patiently. Arms folded across her chest, she tapped her foot on the ground rapidly. She received no response apart from a gush of cold air. Unable to stand still any more, she barged in to find that the place was empty.
Furrowing her brows, Eun tak scanned around to notice that the bathroom door was locked. Instantly she understood that Joo ri must've been inside. Letting out a small sigh she was about to leave when her sight set onto her desk.
Immediately she inquisitively walked over. There it sat with its pages open wide. The soft breeze fluttered the papers to dance like waves.
Eun tak no longer desired to grab a bite of food but instead she craved the knowledge the younger one was writing.
Always coffined up in her room and never stepping out, Joo ri forgot the importance of interacting with others. Apart from going to work she never really had much of a life outside her comfort box called her bedroom.
Therefore, Eun tak was excusing her next actions that she was about to commit to be for Joo ri's sake. To understand what the younger girl was up to. Tenaciously grabbing the diary she dashed over to the lounge.
It had probably been a few minutes since Eun tak began flicking through the verso and recto with an intrigued gaze. She thought she could delve in more of Joo ri's inner thoughts.
Sadly she got caught in the criminal like act
A dark aura seethed out from the figure that lurked behind her. At that moment, Eun tak felt a chill down her spine along with an excited tingle on goosebumps trailing up her arm.
"Unnie! What are you doing?" Joo ri reprehended. She was not pleased. Though the older girl was guilty for invading her privacy, Eun tak couldn't help but smile sluggishly. She knew she screwed up but she felt this thrilling sensation hit her stomach with butterflies. She knew this was going to be amusing.
