Fingers running over her phone screen at high speed she typed away to Gu-dol, informing him that she'd be late. There was so much she had to do including ID checks and more. But with the place packed up and a number of reports being handed in, it was taking longer than expected. There was no way that she'd return to work in time. So for that reason, Joo ri put him in charge for the next few hours.

Blowing out a raspberry, she tucked her phone away and leaned back on the chair. Drained out from everything that was happening around her, Joo ri simply wished for a 10 minute nap.

A straining force heaved across her forehead. A migraine on the way. Screwing her eyes shut from the daylight that constantly furthered the pain, Joo ri exhaled in despair for not taking a tablet. The lack of slumber she disregarded during the night escalated her tedious behaviour.

A part of her just wanted to return back home after leaving the station. She had no strength. Along with that, Joo ri partially believed that Eun tak will return. Even though at this point it seems unrealistic. She disappeared and hours went by. Surely she would've come back if she had the chance.

Therefore, Joo ri was in a sticky situation. Trying to figure out whether she should go to work or not. Nonetheless, she was glad that she hired Gu dol. Since he stood by her side, work has been less stressful than it was before. He helped her settle in and feel comfortable with her unexpected position that she inherited. If it weren't for him, she wouldn't know what she would've done.

"So how can I help?" the detective asked her as he sat down in front of her with some paperwork. Lifting her sight off the documents in his hold, she sent a quick nod before shifting her chair closer to the desk.

Naturally, Joo ri scanned the area around to find other civilians talking to officers and detectives. A few were crying whilst others were screaming. The whole ordeal was sending overwhelming and hectic. "Miss?"

Turning back to him, Joo ri fell back into their conversation. "Well . . yesterday I went to the club. Umm- I don't remember the name but it's near the university . ." scratching her head she shut her eyes for a moment in hope to retrace the scene just before she entered the building.

All she remembers was the bright lights from around her blinding her sight. The sign post for the club hung high and radiated LED far and beyond. She didn't bother looking at it for more than a second.

She couldn't remember at all.

Looked back at him to find after a brief moment of silence that fell between them, she found a blank stare across his face. Sealing her lips, Joo ri swallowed the lump down her throat and carried on. "Anyway, there was an attack" she concluded not going into much more detail.

Initially she expected him to just question her about the situation and seem more intrigued to gain more information. However, the view she was faced with was entirely unordinary. He was unfazed.
