After Lëy'la and Rotxo's little encounter, Lëy'la chose to ignore him.

Was she upset? No.

Slightly mad? Yes.

She has never given him the indication that she did not want him.

So why did he feel that way? She had no idea but she felt frustrated by the thought of it.

"Lëy'la.. are you really going to sulk with me all day? After we just made up?" Rotxo asks.

"I don't know. Fuck around, find out" Lëy'la shrugs.

"Lëy'la.."

"Am i not a woman enough for you or something?" Lëy'la scoffs.

"You are. You really are, that's why I'm trying to.. treat you like one. Respect you like one" Rotxo says.

Lëy'la nods, "fair play. I guess there's nothing I can do apart from stay unmated for the rest of my life."

"Do not say that" Rotxo says.

"I'm going to the others. Are you coming?" Lëy'la asks him.

"Stop changing the subject and let us talk about this" Rotxo says.

"No" Lëy'la runs off the the others.

He lets out a soft chuckle, "Lëy'la."

"I'm going! You can stay there or come with me!" She calls out as she's ahead of him.

"I do want you Lëy'la. I really do."

"So.." Ao'nung glares down at Spider, who just joined in.

All of them sitting down once again near the sea, after quite a long day.

The sun was coming down slowly.

"Yes?" Spider asks.

"Your name is Spider?" Ao'nung asks.

"Yes.." Spider nods.

"Okay" Ao'nung nods.

"Stop being so awkward. God, you are frightening the poor child" Lëy'la says.

"I am not a child" Spider replies.

"To me you are" Lëy'la smiles back at him.

"Excuse me?" They hear a boys voice, causing them to look back.

A Metkayina boy, who stood behind Lëy'la, holding a flower in his hand.

"What do you want Uma?" Ao'nung looks at him.

"It's for you.. Lëy'la.." he puts the flower out in front of her.

Lëy'la stood up, looking at it, "for me?"

He nods, "everyone knows that your brother has mated with the man that you were promised with. And well.. a lot of us thought we should try our best now. To help you feel welcomed."
