Author's Pov

Well, how would she think that he just said yes to her marriage.
Without a glance, he said and her twitched on the thoughts that he would stop her.
It didn't even click Sameer's head that it wasn't nothing but addition of more things to her insecurities.

And who wouldn't be insecure about herself.
Since childhood, she was body shamed.
Maybe her tone or maybe her hips.
But what can cheap people understand.
Absolutely nothing.
It's not about a girls outer beauty always.
The inner beauty speaks a lot.

As said by great poets of the Mughal times.
Woh ishq hi kya jis Mai haya nhi
Aur woh sharm hi kya jis Mai hum faya nhi.
The inner beauty is spoken with the timidness.
Else the outer beauty has no timidness, making it irrational.

Well, so was Mehak giving her an appreciation with a kind gesture that she'll turn in the hurricane with the red hue .
A crescent smile dancing with her.
And talking about Sameer, he was an ice . The only power that could melt him was her, his family, and friends.

Very well they were known to each other. Yet few things were yet to be untangled.
But a heart knows to heal.
It knows to break.
It knows to mend.
And it is the only thing that can love
With all flaws and faults.

MEHAK'S POV

I walked out of his cabin that once was mine too partially.
I don't know, but leaving got a void in me.
Don't know why.
Was it because I won't see him again.
Or was it because he didn't stop me.

Wait, why will he stop me.
What good in me I have that he'll stop me.
Stupid Mehak, you're not a fit for him .
How could I think that.
No, I need to stop this.

Today, I decided to say yes to Shahaan bhaijaan for the evening meet.
Cause he had asked me so as the Guy needs to see me, and so I had to.

Also, I need to get married soon before meeshi cause her wedding was nearly 2 weeks ahead from today.
I couldn't participate in many things.
However, she is or whatever the situation was,  yet she was my sister.

Even if she hates me, my love for them will never fade.
Cause with or without love, I was with the same bloodline.
My heart would never hate them .
Which siblings don't fight.
We were the same, but maybe we never had support to fights that would solve us.
It would always part us away.

Also, my love for Nanu and his only place are only my peace.
And to keep it till I breathe was the only thing.
If it means giving up on the job , getting attached to a person I've never thought is fine.
As long as he respects me.

And about Sameer, he will always be my first man of dreams.
Cause some dreams are not accomplished, but we are capable of dreaming that. That's the only thought of good fortune I'd got.

This never means I'll not love my partner.
Cause I can't keep him in the dark.
I'd ask for time.
With time, I can love.
Maybe more than him , but a first capture will always be him.

I didn't notice when my cheeks felt wet.
I was crying it came to my sense.
My thoughts came to an hault .
I didn't notice that I was near the parking lot.
I'm heading to the restaurant where I will meet my future.

A notification popped up my screen by Shahaan bhaijaan that he was on the way to pick me up .
He had asked me to come to the main road near my office.
I texted him and was okay before walking out and asked the cab driver to take my car home.

After 15 minutes of a good walk, I saw bhaijaan standing out his Black Benz waiting for me.
A sweet smile dancing on our face.
How I wished that this man could have my own brother.
But he is nonetheless. He treats me as his own kid, too.

I walked to him.

"Chalein maahi, " he said.
To which I said, " chaliye Haani bhaaiya.

We both chuckled.

Yes, we called him haani bhaijaan cause haani was the name given by Shafaq baaji. And they called me Maahi.

We settled in . He drove to the restaurant while he was talking to baaji.
Trust me, the love birds seemed so in love. Who won't love bhaijaan?
He was a dreamy man and was baaji, a dreamy woman.
Both charms and smart brains.

Authors Pov.

In a while, the car came to the hault.
Indicating they reached their destination.
Both got down .
The ambiance around left the girl drooling, to which Shahaan passed a small laugh and a smile.

The surrounding speaking richness and royalty.
The way led them to staff bowing down to which she passed a smile.
They reached the table that had been reserved to them.
She sat on the chair waiting.

Cause the person they were supposed to meet has just excused himself for a call, said the butler.
Shahaan glanced a nod to her before walking to the tall figure as him standing with his back near the open arena where the fountain was.

Mehak was busy. Fidgeting with her fingers, her eyes were down on the table.
Not knowing two men were looking at her with a serene smile.
The boots ticking towards her were two.
Her heart raced with nervousness.

Their eyes met . Her breath stopped.

"You!"she said to which the person nodded with a mischief smile.

Sameer's Pov

After she left, I got ready with a new pair of attire in my cabin itself .
I soon came to a destined restaurant.
I was seated on reserved seat waiting for them.
My cell ringed the caller ID, and I got a smile to my face as it was ammijaan.

I gave her the information about the date .
To which she was overjoyed, must say.
My talks were at hault before hearing the footsteps behind me, indicating they're here.
My call came to an end as I said mom about their arrival.

I greeted Shahaan as he came to me.
We both glanced at the baby front of us.
She was fidgeting with her fingers
Seemed she was nervous

Oh, my poor baby.

We walked to her.
Her eyes met mine
Her cute frown in her forehead
Her eyes perplexed wide.

You!
She exclaimed.

I nodded with my famous smirk.

"Yes, Ms Shaikh."

I sat in front of her.

"Mehak, I was talking about this guy.
He is my best friend, and The Barudgar's
Elder son Sameer Barudgar." Said Shahaan .

To which she nodded and said.

"Bhaijaan, he is my boss ," she said with a little whisper enough for the both of us to hear .

"Okay, Sameer and Maahi, you both talk. I'll get going." said Shahaan, to which I and she nodded.
