as Audrey and I began our journey of opening and closing doors, I thought about what I was about to do.

I was seriously going to just kick another version of me out of their world, huh? honestly, that sounds like such a dick move. how would I even find all the gravity falls worlds? not to mention that Audrey would probably disapprove of what I was doing.

as I continued to walk, Audrey floated beside me, going on a rant to me.

"-it's so cool that there's another version of me! its super weird how I'm y/n, but I'm not y/n. I'm Audrey, and you're y/n. but we are also the same person-"

I was half listening, of course, I was paying more attention to my surroundings so I could figure out:

1. where I was going

2. how to find the gravity falls Aus

3. how to find the universe I'm looking for.

so far, my plan was failing miserably.

"-uh... y/n? you there?" Audrey said, floating in front of me and waving a transparent hand in front of my face.

"Oh! uh, yeah. sorry, I was spacing out. what were you saying?" I asked, realizing that as I was thinking earlier, I had ended up just standing in place.

Audrey continued to talk about various topics while I looked around the hallways, opening various doors. turns out, they worked very similar to the doors in the mindscape.

the first door I opened was a very dark walnut wood with a fancy engraving on it of a sort of heart-Ish thing with a bunch of really intricate swirls that I could only do if I had multiple years of practice to do one line. that's how impressive it was. as I opened the door Audrey stopped talking to look at what was behind the door, cocking her head and floating over beside me.

"Stop everything." a woman in black hoodie said, running to the middle of the field, kneeling on the grass to grab something.

"y/N? WhAT ArE YoU-" a glitchy voice said, I looked over from the door to see Audrey fangirling. I slapped a hand over her mouth to prevent her from giving us away.

"This snail, I shall name you Jacob." the woman, now identified to be another version of me, said, lifting up a snail in her hands.

Audrey removed my hand from her mouth and whispered into my ear. "This is so cool! there's a version of us who lives with the bad sanses!" she exclaimed, turning from me back to the door.

"So, you stopped our fight for a snail?" a skeleton with a crack in his head, probably horror, asked with a 'wtf dude' voice.

"You would have gotten your butt kicked by error anyway" she said bluntly and walking back inside with Jacob the snail in her hand. Audrey tried to reach for the door to chase other me to talk to them, but I closed the door on her.

"We can't let anyone see us. what if we do some weird thing in those time travel movies that when you interact with someone it completely changes the plot?" I say, trying to talk sense into her.

"But-!"

"No buts, besides this is the first door. what if we find a version of ourselves who's friends with fresh? wouldn't that be much more worth your time?" I said, fully closing the door.

"Okay, I guess you're right there." she sighed, trailing (floating? is there a mix of those two words?) behind me, a bit of disappointment on her face.

"Oh, and." I start, opening up and closing a few random doors. "If given the chance, would you like to come back to my world? meet bill and whatever?"
