13. Mirror

MANHEER'S POV

It was some sort of a fort. So big.So dark. So dangerous. So scary. I was running. So fast. My anklets were so loud while running. He could hear the sound of my anklets. I don't think anyone is here besides us. I stopped to remove my anklets but I could feel him coming near me. He wasn't even trying to run but was still close to me. I dropped the idea of removing the anklets and kept running till I came in a balcony. I don't even know if this is actually a balcony or what but from what I can see is, it is so much above the ground. It is more like a hall, where on one side there are rooms and on the otherside there are grills. A person standing here can see whole fort.

"Butterfly! I told you not to ignore me!! And here you are running from me!" He is coming close.

Manheer run..

"Butterfly, don't run from me, you know I love you right." He said.

I found a spot.

To hide.

It was under a pillar.

I went there and tried to hold my breath.

He was near.

So near.

I was so hard trying to hold my breath and my cries.

"Oh so my love wants to play hide and seek!"

"Where are you butterfly!"

"Are you here" he said seeing under a cabinet.

"Or you are here" he opened a cupboard and said.

"Orrrr you are" and suddenly someone grabbed my hair and I screamed.

"I found you butterfly"

And I woke up panting. Breathing so so so heavily.

It was just a nightmare. I drank water that was kept near my bed and looked that the clock. It was 8.00 pm.

Wait. Its 8.00 pm and nobody woke me up. Did Veer ji and Love not come from office yet?

I went to the washroom and wore my shorts and t shirt and went downstairs.

I could see Love cooking something in the kitchen while veer ji was on the call sitting on the dining table. His laptop was infront of him and he was writing something.

"Listen, I need each and every single detail of this motherfucker. 30 mins and I should get the e-mail else you know what I am gonna do with you." Veer ji said.

"Arey veer ji aap itney rude bhi hotey hainnn" I said while coming down.
(Veer ji, you are rude as well?)

"Oh baby, it was nothing.. you tell, did you sleep nicely?" He said.

"Yes veer ji, I just had a nightmare. A stupid nightmare." I said while grabbing an apple from the dining table and sitting right next to veer ji to peep into his work.

"Aye, don't eat it now, else you will not be hungry for dinner." Loveleen said and snatched the apple from me.

I made a crying face and faked crying and said "veer ji see what she is doing..I AM HUNGRYY"

"Manu, she is right, just 10 mins more and dinner would be ready." He said.

"You know veer ji, ajj appa enna maza kita..like maza actually nahi si but ya my colleagues were really good." I said.
