Heyy Guys!
Long time, no see but here I am.

⚠️ Tom and Harry are in the same year⚠️

Tom sighed heavily and wearily lowered his head onto his parchment. A Potions essay, which had to be ready tomorrow and he only had half a page!

A soft knock startled him out of his half-sleep and he looked anxiously at the door.
Harry entered quietly and placed steaming plates on one of the bedside tables.

"Um...I hope I'm not interrupting. So I just thought you were so busy, I thought I'd bring you some food. I'll be going in a minute too, don't worry, I hope I'm not too gr-"

The overworked student had risen from his chair and now gave him a grateful kiss.
"Shh... you're no trouble. Besides, I'm happy to have any company. Especially yours."

Now the, now a few months, younger man beamed and pulled his friend next to him and meaningfully pressed a spoon into his hand.
Tom laughed briefly and began to eat.

After they had both finished, the Slytherin dropped onto the bed and groaned in exasperation.

"That heavy?" Harry asked sympathetically and the 15-year-old nodded.
"I just can't find the words to fill four bloody parchments." Sighing, he closed his burning eyes.
Slightly the mattress lowered and a moment later he felt long fingers gently running over his face and through his hair.

The fingertips tickled his skin, but he no longer had the energy to say anything. And pleasant it was too, in a way, so he didn't complain.

"Do you want me to help you? I don't have any potions, but I know my way around. So, what do you say?"
Tom snuggled close to Harry and pulled him on top of him.
"That would be great. You're wonderful."

Harry looked at him smiling and kissed him on the forehead. Gently, his, slightly larger hand clasped his and stroked it.
"Thank you. I love you."
Tom smirked and pulled him closer. Lovingly, the smaller one nestled into the crook of his neck and made himself comfortable on his lap.

"I love you, too. And this," he gestured towards the former dinner, "is just one of the many reasons we're more than normal friends."

This drew a slight giggle from the Gryffindor and Tom grinned.

"Come on, up you go, I'll help you anyway."
Tom snorted and let Harry pull him into an upright position.
Now it was back to the hated lump of wood called a desk and on to work.

With the little whirlwind at his side, the procedure passed more quickly than usual and now he was also getting words on paper!
Finally, finally, he made the last stroke.

"Ouch," he muttered, "my hand hurts."
Compassionately, the lion stroked the aching hand and breathed feather-light kisses on it.

"Well, it's better than being yelled at by Slughorn, isn't it?"
Tom just grumbled, which made the younger man laugh.
"Sleeping?" Harry asked, receiving a very tired nod.
He carried his friend to the bed and lay down himself.
And no sooner had their heads touched the pillows than they were both asleep, snuggled close under the covers.
