✨️DINNER NIGHT ✨️

EVENING:-

Charlie's smile grows as she feels her husband's warmth enveloping her and drawing her into his chest.

"Charlie, ma'am." Leo whispers and gives her a gentle kiss.

"Hubby." Charlie murmers, sulking while dozing off.

"It is evening, wake up." With a deep, drowsy voice, he says.

"Um..." Charlie says softly as she rubs her eyes, observing his face.

Leo stands up and grabs her shoulders to help her up.

Charlie pouts and looks up, holding her baby messy hair, while Leo looks at her hair and controls his laugh.

"Charlie...." He says setting her hair behind her ear .

"Charlie....!!!!?". Someone knocks on the door.

Charlie glances at the door and is ready to get out of bed when Leo says, "Wait, I will open." After saying so, he opens the door.

Mrs.Andrea, cleared her throat, beams as she notices that Leo is grinning at her.

"Alright, ab Leo. I apologize for bothering you, son. Everything is prepared; mom and dad are here. Please get ready and join the dinner." claiming to give him two paper bags from her.

"Aunty, no worries...She is a little worn out, but I will take her out quickly. Leo says as Mrs. Andrea smiles and nods.

"Huh..tired..!!!!!!?,aha.. Where is Charlie?" A girl asks as she leaps in front of Leo.

Leo rolls his eyes, sighs, and closes the door.

"Leo...!!!?". She yells.

"Hubby, what is wrong? Is that Leena?" Charlie worriedly walks towards him .

"Nothing, come on, take this; you can talk to her later." giving her a paper bag.

After accepting it, Charlie notices a saree and thinks, "How am I going to wear this here?" she curses to himself inwardly before grinning and saying, "Hubby...a ab... yo-you get ready here...i-i will go to Sara's room..." says, glancing at Leo, who is observing her with a furrowed brow.

"Why do not you change in here,?" He inquires as she dips her head and bites her lower lip.

"I need assistance with my saree, please, hubby".  She walks toward the door with a pout and blushes, but before she can open it, Leo grabs her wrist and asks, "Why others? I can help you, just tell how to do it." She closes her eyes and bites her lower lip as he asks.

"Huh...?" He queries

She pulls her hand and mumbles, "No...hu-hubby le-leave me," shaking her head. Leo feels a small tremble through her hand.

He pulls her in closer and asks, "Why are you shivering?" as she presses against his chest.

With her hands pressed against his chest, Charlie let out a gasp, "I am not." She responds while lowering her gaze.

"Why do you feel anxious? "What are you thinking?" Leo asks.

She turns to face away with burning ears and says, "I am just um---, I am not thinking of anything." She speaks quite literally, her lips quivering. Leo smirks, glancing at her searing ears before mumbling something under his breath. He then looks from her forehead to her chin, unblinking, as she swallows.

"Go, do not be so sensitive in front of me," Leo said at that point. observing her quickly leave the room.

The dinner party has already begun, with guests arriving and being welcomed by Mr. and Mrs. Andrea.
