LUCIA won her first match easily. Her second was good, but after her third she was tired.
"Eagle princess. A word." Johnny said after her third match.
Lucia grumbled and walked over to her sensei.
"Yes, Sensei?" She raised her eyebrows.
"What's going on out there? You fought great in your first match and it all went downhill from there. We're counting on you, Lucia." Johnny said.
Lucia looked up at the crowd and saw Moon wave at her, then looked across the arena and saw Tory look her up and down.
She looked back to Johnny and shook her head.
"I'll do better, Sensei. I just...I just need to take a minute for myself."
"Hurry. Your match is next."
Lucia nodded and went into the hallway:
She pressed her back up against the wall and closed her eyes.
So many things were running through her mind, she just needed to escape.
Escape.
She opened her eyes and went to the locker room, collecting her things.
Escaping is what she was going to do.
