"Der- Can you go please?" Meredith almost begged her husband. They had gotten out of bed a dozen of times already as Grace kept waking them up

"Sure." He groaned and got up. Meredith had gone previously but it was just harder for her than it is for him so he had no problems to check on their daughter

"Well sweetie.. Mommy and I really need some sleep. And you do too." Derek muttered tiredly as he walked into his youngest daughter's room. Her cries kept going, he lifted her in his arms and started rocking her

Meanwhile Emma had woken up as well. She had collected her stuffed bunny and slowly walked over to the room of her parents

"Der?" Meredith whispered as the door opened

"Mama-" Emma whimpered

"Oh monkey, did Grace wake you up?" Meredith asked the little blonde girl that slowly climbed into bed

"Yes. Sissy's not nice." She pouted

"I'm sorry honey. But she's not doing this on purpose. She's adjusting to being in her own room, away from what she was used to." Meredith explained

"Can we move her to her bed here?" Derek peaked inside

"Yeah, might be better." Meredith pushed herself up a bit more

"Careful-" Derek said. "Can you take her? I changed her diaper but haven't fed her."

"Sure, come here." She nodded, resting against the matress that was raised

"Mama, I tiwred." Emma whimpered

"Sorry monkey." Meredith muttered

It was only then that Derek had noticed Emma

"We'll climb in soon with you, monkey. Close your eyes, we love you." He kissed her head quickly

...

"Mer? Mer?! Can you grab Grace?" Derek yelled as she started crying

"Yeah." Meredith nodded and wheeled off to the little girl's nursery. "Hi sweetie, did you have a good nap?" Meredith carried the little girl to the changing table

"Mama! Mama! Sissy awake?" Emma ran inside

"Hi Emmie, yes she's awake. Can you pass me sissy's carrier, please?" Meredith asked as she struggled a bit more with this baby then she had when Emma was little.

"Otay!" Emma grabbed the piece of fabric to her mom and she started strapping it on, placing Grace safely against her chest

"Thank you so much, you're the best big sister. Come on, let's go have a meal." Meredith wheeled out, Emma running in front of her

"Mommy, huwwy!" Emma giggled

"Lunch is ready." Derek said and served the food as they hadn't gotten a chance to have breakfast. They had given Emma cereal while Derek started to tidy up

"Here, you didn't take your meds yet." Derek placed them ready for her as they started digging in. Meredith swallowed her pills when Grace started whimpering

"Oh I'm sorry, you must be hungry as well." Meredith took the girl out if the carrier and let her daughter latch onto her breast to feed her

"Just don't forget to eat as well." Derek kissed the top of Meredith's head as he got up to get them something to drink

...

"Mom, please can you help us out? Mer and I can't sleep, Emma is getting a bit feverish and Grace keeps crying at night." Derek was calling his mother

"Do we take Emma for a few days?" Carolyn suggested, knowing her son was overwhelmed as she heard his voice

"Please. Mer and I-" Derek stopped

"You two need some rest and some love." Carolyn nodded. "We're coming over, we'll see you in a bit."

"Thanks mom. Thank you." Derek said and hung up

"Shh, Em." Meredith hugged her oldest daughter as they were laying on the couch, Grace on her chest

"Emmie, what do you think of staying the weekend with nana and poppa?" Derek suggested

"Dunno." Emma shrugged in her mom's side

"Der, I don't know.." Meredith muttered

"Just for the night. Tomorrow we can have a tea party." Derek suggested

"Yes!" Emma giggled softly.

"We should get your bag packed then." Meredith said, attempting to sit up but Derek stopped her

"The three of you stay here. I'll go pack her bag." Derek walked off to Emma's room

"Mama, can I call you tonight befowe bed?" Emma asks

"Of course you can, you always can call us." Meredith promised and hugged her two daughters close, Grace started whimpering as she turned her head into Meredith's chest

"More milk?" Meredith muttered and let Grace latch on. "You're eating a bit much, sweetie. Mommy can't keep up." Meredith worriedly whispered
