Dear Diary,
Daddy took me with him to work today. He worked in a huge building! I was in his office, playing quietly as he requested. He was doing a lot of business things. I didn't do schoolwork today. Daddy said I needed the break. When it was time for lunch, we went to get fast food. I didn't mind as long as I had my nuggets. Mommy tried to contact Dad, but when I heard her voice, I started to cry. Daddy hung up the phone and comforted me. I didn't know why I was crying, but I was. I felt scared and alone.
