" Let me help you with that," Markus said as I tried putting the necklace on my neck but I was unable to.

I handed him the necklace as I turned so he could help me with it. When he had closed the lock, he just looked at me through the vanity mirror with a smile and I raised my eyebrow at him in question.

" You look so beautiful, and the necklace is just perfect on you," he said as he moved my hair back leaving my neck in full display as his lips descended on it leaving feathery kisses there.

" If we don't go now, I might change my mind and we'll have to go another day, you look quite tempting," he whispered in my ear and I couldn't help but like the idea of that.

" Let's go," I said, pushing my crazy urges because I wanted to know what it felt like to have dinner with Markus when he wasn't being a jerk to me.

" After you gorgeous," he said as he did a silly mock bow and I laughed walking past him and heading for the door.

Markus held the car door open for me as I thanked him and got in, he then turned to the driver's side and he entered the car and we drove off.

I was surprised when we got to the location where I supposed we were going to be having our date. Markus liked fancy things, he was rich and didn't settle for less, not like this place wasn't nice, but it was just different, different from what Markus was used to.

I turned to look at him but he was already looking at me. I was speechless that I couldn't even speak, the question I wanted to ask him got tied on my tongue but I guess he knew what I wanted to ask.

" I just wanted somewhere for you to be comfortable, somewhere there would be just us, so that's why I chose this spot," I watched in silence as he smiled at me and then he got down from the car and walked to my door and he opened it for me, he stretched his hand to help me down like a gentleman.

This place was beautiful, it looked like a restaurant by the beach, nothing too classy but just perfect, there wasn't anyone here, it was just the two of us, why do I have a feeling Markus pulled one of those rich people's tricks.

" There seems to be nobody here but the both of us," I more like ask than state.

" Uhmm,..." He muttered as he scratched the back of his head like had been caught doing something he wasn't supposed to do.

…" I might have rented the whole place for tonight," I knew it. I couldn't help but chuckle.

" Showoff," I teased as he pulled a chair for me.

" Well you can't deny you still like me like that," I just shrugged not giving anything.

The breeze from the ocean and the dark sky with the shining stars were just making everything so surreal.

We were served by a waiter and I couldn't help but smirk internally. The last time we had waitresses,  they were just all over him and that didn't bode well with me.

We requested, more like I requested shrimps and lobster while Markus asked them to give him whatever I asked for.

When we were done eating, Markus took my hand and told me to follow him which I  did surprisingly he removed his shoes and after he removed his, he bent down to remove mine while I just blushed like a silly school girl.

We kept our shoes and then he led me for a walk on the beach.

" Easy there," He referring to my leg that was still healing, the pain was light but not as painful as when I twisted it.

" Let's play a game," Markus suddenly said as he brought my hand to his lips, dropping a kiss there.

" What game?" I asked as I had my eyes on his face.

" Twenty questions," He said as we stopped walking and I turned to him wondering why, not until I saw the sheet that was spread on the floor with a bouquet on it.

" Did you put that there?" I asked like I didn't already know.

" Guess," he said as we both walked to the sheet and he helped me sit.

" You did, or we wouldn't be sitting here,"

" Then I must be a sweet and charming man, right?"

"Okay back to the game, I want to know more about you, so it works like this, you ask me one question I answer and then I'll ask,"

" I know how twenty questions work silly," I said as I hit his shoulder playfully.

" Okay, okay, I'll go first," Markus said with a smile on his face.

" Okay,"

" What is the best thing that I've ever happened to you?" He asked me and I scanned my brain for the most memorable thing that happened to me but I just couldn't think of anything. Life growing up was wonderful until my dad left. I wish I could think of something but nothing was coming.

" That would be tasting chocolate," I joked but that was what I could think of, I didn't want to look pathetic. Markus looked at me like wanted to say something but stopped himself remembering the rules of the game.

" So it's your turn," He said as he took my hands and then he took a berry from the basket, took a bite, and put the rest in my mouth.

" If you had one wish, only one, what would you wish for?" I asked him and before I could even blink he answered.

" Your smile, I want to see it every day, the way your eyes brighten when you smile, it's something else, it makes me want to kiss you forever and that's why I prefer your smile and hate it when you cry," I felt a tugging in my heart I just couldn't explain, it was like my heart would explode because of how fast it was beating.

" That's cheesy, " I joked because I didn't know what else to say. I was sitting and it was beginning to make my back ache so I stretched to relieve the pain and Markus noticed.

" Are you uncontrollable? Come here," he said as he asked me to lay down and then I placed my head on his lap making myself more comfortable while he ran his hand through my hair and it felt good.

" So you're next," I said to him as I looked into his eyes because he was looking down on me.

" The most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?" There was this crazy thing I did when I was young, I still cringe to date, should I make up something or should I just tell him? Against all odds and decided to face the embarrassment.

" Promise not to laugh," I said with a serious voice.

" Promise," I had a feeling he wasn't going to keep the promise.

" Okay, so there was this time I told my mom I wanted to be a dancer, you know I was still young and finding myself, so after pleading she accepted and then I started taking dance lessons, everything was going good, well as good as it could get, then it was high school graduation and our class was to present a dance for the seniors leaving to college, but I froze, I froze in front of everybody," I couldn't help but cover my face, in embarrassment, it was a horrible encounter.

Laughter. I knew he would laugh.

" You promised,"

" No, wait," he said as he tried to catch his breath and I pouted in anger.

" No, I'm not laughing because of you dancing, I just can't imagine how cute you'll look frozen in front of everybody,"

" Not funny,"

" Okay let's not dwell on that, it's your turn to ask your question," He said, still chuckling.

" Who is Fiona?" I had already asked the question before I realized my mistake.
