Den's POV

Nakatulong sa nararamdaman naming lahat yung pagdalaw nila Ly kagabi. Umuwi kami ni Deanna pagkaalis nila pero naiwan sila Jho at Cait para magbantay kila Bea at Ace.

Makakalabas na sa ospital si Bea today. Si Cait naman ay nakumbinse namin na umuwi muna sa tinutuluyan namin at ako muna ang magbabantay kay Ace. Kailangan na din kasi ni Cait makabalik sa training so napagdesisyunan namin at ng management na magpapalitan ang buong team sa pagbabantay kay Ace.

Bago lumabas ng ospital si Bea. Dinalaw nya si Ace.

Bea's POV

Masaya ako na makakalabas na ko ng ospital. Magsisimula na din ang rehab ko pagkalabas ko.

However, it is so hard to see Ace like this. She put her life on the line for us. I knew she fought to keep me above water until she couldn't anymore.

Hiniling ko kila Ate Den na bigyan ako ng private time with Ace bago ako madischarge. I sat beside her and held her hand.

"Ace... I miss you buddy. Hindi ako sanay na makita kang ganito. I'm sorry Ace. Sorry na hindi ako ganun kalakas. Sorry na hindi kita natulungan. Sorry na hindi ko maalagaan si Cait for you." Wika ko kasabay ng pagtulo ng luha ko.

"May balita ako sa yo. JhoBea's back. We're taking it slow pero we are really working on it. Alam ko naman na you know how I felt about Cait, pero in the end, narealise ko na mas matimbang pa rin si Jho. She is my first love after all. Alam ko naman na alam mo yun." Pagpapatuloy ko.

"Ace... gumising ka na please. Kailangan ka ni Cait. Kailangan ka namin. Alam ko na iniisip mo siguro na madali kang palitan, na temporary lang naman yung posisyon mo. But the truth is, even before you officially signed to join the team, you were already a huge part of it. I know hindi namin madalas masabi sa yo pero every single game from college until now, you have become an essential part of it. Feeling namin laging may kulang pag wala ka. Kailangan namin ang kapatid namin inside and outside the court. I hope next time na dalawin kita, gising ka na. We love you Ace, please keep fighting. Hihintayin ka namin." Pagtatapos ko kasabay ng pagpisil sa kamay nya.

Den's POV

I overheard what Bea was telling Ace. Di ko mapigilan na maiyak din. Bea's right. Hindi man kami laging nagkikita or nag-uusap, Ace was always there when it counts the most. She never hesitated to show her love and support. Sobrang excited namin na makilala sya ng volleyball world because she was often overlooked. She wasn't just a fan to any of us. She was always one of us.

I sat with Ace after Bea left.

"Ace, I never really had a chance to tell you how much I admire you. Naalala mo nung pinuntahan ka namin ni Bea? Tapos tinanong mo kami kung bakit ikaw ang gusto namin makapasok sa team? It's your passion Ace. You stand out because of your heart. You are fighter pero at the same time sobrang tender mo din magmahal sa min. I meant what I said back then. There is no else I trust more to do this with me. I need you here. We all do. Miss na miss ka na namin. It's not the same without you. I know na if it was up to you, you would push us to carry on pero sobrang hirap." Wika ko.
