Sometimes the things you wish for comes at a very high price but happiness is like a butterfly. The more you chase it, the more it elude you. But, if you turn your attention to other things, it comes and sits softly on your shoulder.
In the past month of my marriage all I ever wanted was to search ways on how I can end this marriage. Because it's not regular you marry your bestfriend's brother nor it is that one day you'll fall for the same man.
Falling in love is easy but falling out of love? It takes an entire life and sometimes more than that.
"You summoning me here leads to only conclusion that you know about Mahir and I, I presume?"
I stare at the woman sitting infront of me, wearing a white shirt dress, her hair was in a high ponytail. Everything about her screams classy and perfection. No wonder Mahir fell for her.
"You presumed right, Ms Oberoi." I stare into her eyes.
"Oh, I thought we were way past the honorifics." She said but I didn't miss the sarcasm in her tone.
"We were but then I also thought we're friends unfortunately, we are not."
"I see, I was actually waiting for this conversation, dear. Now, finally here we are." Her eyes screamed many emotions and a burning passion to destroy someone, me.
"Here we are."
"Bella, I have no issue with you. As you know the only reason I'm here is for Mahir." She said taking a sip of her coffee.

"Husband? Yeah on a contract which by the way will end in three months." She muttered something under her breath. I was surprised at her words. How did she knows?
I folded my arms. "It is more than a contract now."
"Foolish of you to assume that Mahir will ever accept this marriage. He doesn't, Bella. He's just waiting for the contract to end so he can get away from you and this ridiculous marriage."
"And you know all these because?"
"I'm the one who's in his heart. Even though he assumed to love your sister but it was all a mere escape from what he truly desires, me."
I rolled my eyes at her absurdity. "Ms Oberoi, I assume you think so highly of yourself."
"It's the truth, Bella and on what ground you're asking me that? Just because Mahir showed you a fraction of his affection? I mean come on. We both know he's simply fooling around with you."
"Enough." I raised my voice. "You'll not speak of my husband in that way."
"Truth hurts, isn't it? Here you're defending him all because of some charming words he spoke and few romantic kisses." She scoffed
