M A H I R

Seven years later...

Exhaustion swept through me as I walked inside the house. It had been a long day at work especially with the merging of Raghuvanshi Empire and RS Architect- now know as R&R Architects. We decided it's best if we joined both the companies since none of the Raghuvanshi siblings want to take over.

Aria is now completely focusing on her writing career while Ayansh is in the Hollywood. They all had chosen their paths which left only me.

As for my wife, she just want to be the landscape architect without having to worry about the company's pressure. Not that I'd let her do something that stresses her out.

In result, I was left to handle the company since both my fathers has finally retired. With all the business in my hand, I was tired. I was now thirty-nine years old and already wanting to retire right along side my fathers.

"Little wolf." I called out when I heard no signs of life in the house, not a peep beside my footsteps.

"Fucking hell," I muttered, wincing as the small Lego block crushed under my feet.

"Mommy!" I heard an ear piercing scream, which, no doubt, had to belong to the little girl who rushed past me like a bolt of lighting as I swore once more, following her outside to the garden.

"Mahir." Her voice made my shoulders tense as I walked towards the large bay window back doors, facing her.

"Baby," I smiled sheepishly when she raised her brow at me holding out the glass of jar towards me when I groaned.

"Now, Mahir." She said giving me a murderous look.

"I can explain." I said when she put a hand on her hip while soft giggles came from behind her.

Looking down at my wife's leg, I saw my little rapunzel giggling at me, her hazel eyes gleaming with mischief.

Grumbling under my breath, I whipped out a hundred note from my wallet and stuffed it in the god forsaken swear jar which was now filled to the brim, thanks to my generous donation.

Note the sarcasm.

"Good. Don't do it again. Understand?" Bella warned putting the jar on the table.

I playfully glared at both my girls before lunging forward and scooping my little rapunzel in my arms, throwing her up in the air and catching her while she giggled.

"Mahir, careful!" My wife warned me as I pecked my baby girl's cheek. I gave her a big smile which she returned with her own toothy grin. I glanced at my wife who was smiling at us before I leaned a little and kissed her on the lips.

"Did my girls missed me?" I asked pulling Bella closer to me, wrapping my other hand around her waist while the other was securely holding my baby girl.
