It's a girl.
The Raghuvanshi princess finally arrived. Few weeks ago my sister gave birth to my very healthy and beautiful niece. The joy I felt in that moment when I first held that little baby was something I cannot describe in words. I had this warm fuzzy feeling inside me when I saw her for the first time in the crib.
I have never seen babies before not when they're just born into the world. My experience with Pari was different because she's two years old but seeing a merely few hours born baby, I wasn't expecting myself to feel this happy.
And to celebrate this beautiful moment, my family is hosting a big party in honour of our little princess. My father will officially announce the baby's arrival and Reyan being the father.
Speaking of him I haven't seen him since yesterday when he left in hurry. Infact, Rudra and Arnav seemed to be in hurry as well and left in the middle of our dinner.
They all seemed a little off and I don't even want to start with my so call husband who's been ghosting me for two fucking weeks. I don't know what suddenly went wrong because we were fine when we left Spain but after Aria gave birth, he just vanished.
Arnav has been making excuses on his behalf saying it's work and nothing serious but if he doesn't call me tonight then I'll make him vanish permanently.
I admit, I'm the one in fault given I have been staying with my parents since I arrived in India. Mahir was mad at first but later he understand that my sister needed me right now. Everything was okay for a week and he even visited me everyday but then he stopped coming.
I'm pissed.
"Any sign of Mahir?"
I was pulled out of my reverie when I realized I was in my sister's room. She stare at me, peering into glass of lemonade when I sighed heavily.
"No. He's just texting he's busy." I said, my mood dull all of a sudden.
"I'm sure he's just busy with the new projects since he's been away for like three months, no?" She said and I hummed in response.
"Come on, let's head outside it's raining." Aria dragged me to our backyard and it was pouring hard. The cool breeze hitting my face causing me to shiver in delight. I remembered our old times when we used to soak ourselves in rain for hours and our mother had to drag us inside. She'd later complain about us to our father who'd just smile at us while our mother ramble on.
"Are you sure you should be here?" I asked.
She giggled closing her eyes and enjoying the rain. "It feel so good, Bella. Besides Rhea is sleeping."
"Rhea?" I asked confused.
She sighed squinting her eyes to look at me and then nodded. "I decided to name her after Reyan's mother. It's the least I could do for after whatever happened to him."
