~'Honey-Sweet'~

Universal Puppy Distribution System; yellow

I wake up to something warm being placed on my lap. "Good morning Charlie." I say, my voice still steeped in sleep. I sit up against my pillows to find a beautiful plate of scrambled eggs with ham and cheese sitting on a tray on my lap, alongside a glass of apple juice, a fork, a napkin, and a cookie. "Oh Charlie this looks lovely thank you." I scoop up a bite of egg and blow on it, the warm steam from the fresh eggs flies away in beautiful curly wisps and disperses into the room. The cheese in the eggs is gooey and hot, almost burning, but not quite. The ham is salty and a little bit sweet, and it lends a perfect compliment to the cheese. The egg holds the two components together perfectly, and is light and fluffy. "You're my favorite boyfriend Charlie." I smile up at him, feeling refreshed and awake after a few bites of the heavenly breakfast.  "I would hope so, unless there's others I don't know about." The sweet sound of his quiet laughter joins in perfect symphony with the birds and insects chirping just outside the bedroom. What a perfect existence.

"SO chat. Today we're gonna do something a little different. Now you may notice I'm streaming from my phone, and that's because. Drumroll please!" I do a little pause for dramatic effect, "I'm bring you outside today, into beautiful, wonderful nature. We're going hiking chat, and don't worry of course I'm going to be bringing some entertainment for you guys, since I know seeing the unadulterated outdoors maybe be a bit overwhelming for many of you basement dwelling troglodytes." Perfectly on cue, Charlie greets chat, saying hello to the petals and the gunkers alike. Then we pack up some snacks and a water bottle and head out for our hike.

"Chat what do we think of trees? Good or bad?" I look down at my phone, holding it at an atrocious camera angle where chat can practically see up my nose. Charlie scoffs and rolls his eyes playfully. Chat almost unanimously agrees that trees are good, which shocks me, my audience has a better sense of humor than I thought. "You guys are lame. Clearly none of you have ever stepped on an oak leaf barefoot, ooh or a holly leaf, that shit hurts like hell." Chat fills with "I have"'s, "Oh my god guys. One time I was hiking with some friends in Joshua Tree and my buddy Maeve stepped on a cholla! They're like these super sharp cactus things, it went through her shoe!" I shudder thinking about it, "She was freaking out but she got lucky cause it barely even poked her, it was so gross though." I get quiet when I realize I'm rambling, and Charlie takes my free hand. "Awwww guys look," I point the camera down at our hands and then at Charlie's face, "Someone's got a crush on meeeee." I tease, Charlie rolls his eyes, "Nuh uh!"  I give him a kiss on the cheek, and start spouting bullshit at chat again.  

"Charlie did you hear that?" I ask, a bit nervous. "Haha so funny." The bushes rustle again. "Oh there really is something there. Don't worry it's probably like a deer or something." It doesn't sound like a deer. He's totally wrong, we're totally going to die. Fuck. This is it. I'm gonna cry oh my god it's all over. The quiet, menacing footsteps grow ever closer, as our fate cements itself, this is the day we die. "It's a puppy!" Charlie kneels down on the ground and holds his hand out towards the small bristle-haired puppy. 

Hey guys!!!!!! I hope you've liked this one! it was supposed to go out a couple days ago, and I've only just realized the auto upload didn't go through!
