Chapter 56

~ Ryder's P.O.V ~

It's been two weeks since my doctor told me I was going to die and all I felt is pure hatred for the babies that grew inside me. All they brought was pain and death just like their fucking father. I should have listened to myself when I said I was going to get an abortion instead of letting everyone convince me that it wasn't the right thing to do and that I would be killing innocent babies.

I will never love these kids like I love my other kids. If it wasn't for Ashton and these babies I would still have my kids and be happy but now my kids are gone and I'm gonna die. I can't believe I'm losing my life for kids that I don't even want and I can't even see my babies before I die. That's all I want, to spend my last few days with my family and my babies but thanks to Ashton that will never happen.

By now I was in tears thinking of the fact that I'll never see my children. I guess someone told Calum and Eliana what happened because they both have been texting me all day about how sorry they are and that it was all a misunderstanding and that they can't believe that I'm dying and want to see me.

I let out a sigh before standing to my feet and walking into the living room where Zayn was sitting with his head in his hands. I slowly made my way over to him before gently placing my hand on his shoulder causing him to look up at me with his tear stained cheeks. He pulled me into his lap before burying his face in the crook of my neck and taking a deep breath.

"I wish that this was all some twisted dream and that you're gonna be okay." He mumbled causing me to sigh

"I wish it was too" I placed a kiss to the top of his head as I ran my hand through his hair. I felt him place a delicate kiss to my neck causing me to smile.

"I love you" Zayn said now looking into my eyes

"I love you too." My eyes locked on the smoke that Zayn had in the hand that wasn't wrapped around me. I reached over and grabbed it from him before putting it between my lips and taking a long inhale of the smoke.

"You can't smoke baby, it will effect the babies." He tried to take it out of my hand but I immediately smacked his hand away

"I don't give a Fuck." I said continued to smoke. Zayn sighed but stayed quiet. There was a knock at the front door causing me to raise my eyebrow in confusion

"Ryder." The sound of Calum's voice coming from the otherside of the door caused Zayn to practically growl and my to clench my jaw in annoyance. I stood to my feet and walked over to the door with the smoke hanging out the corner of my mouth. I slowly unlocked the door to see Calum with bloodshot eyes and a pink nose and cheeks. His eyes locked on the smoke but he just wrapped his arms around me

"Baby please let me explain what happened. I don't want to be away from you, I'm sorry I never meant to hurt you. I didn't want her, I want you and only you, but now I'm losing you because of those babies." His voice was filled with sorrow and anger.

"There is nothing you can say, I'm done with you." I said pushing him away from me.

"You're no better than I am. I know you fucked Luke, Eliana told me. That's why I was with Eliana, because I was hurt. But I promise you, i changed my mind before anything happened and I tried to get her to stop." I raised an eyebrow in confusion

"What do you mean I Fucked Luke? The only thing that happened between Luke and I was almost 7 years ago and you know about that time" Calum raised his eyebrow in confusion

"I'm not fucking stupid Ryder, Eliana saw you in bed with him" I let out a sigh in realization

"I was in bed with Luke because he was talking care of me. I was bleeding and he was helping me and told me to sleep in his bed with him so that if I needed him again he would be able to help me right away. We never had sex." Calum wrapped his arms around my before taking the smoke out of my mouth and kissing me. I placed a hard smack to his cheek causing him to release me and grip his pink cheek
