"You don't know what it does to me when I feel you around."

As Eros walked me into our room, his grip on me was firm but gentle, his breath still heavy from the celebration.

The quiet of the house after the party was almost surreal. He looked at me with those intense eyes, eyes that always seemed to read me like a book.

"I have something for you." I said shyly and felt a wave of nerves wash over me. I had spent weeks thinking about it, and now, standing in front of him, I was both excited and anxious.

"What is it?" He reached for my hand, intertwining our fingers and kissing my hand gently.

"I got you a gift for your birthday." I said with a nervous smile when he sighed.

"You didn't have to." He mumbled, pulling me closer, his arms wrapping around my waist as I stood between his legs while he sat on the bed.

"I wanted to." I said and moved back and walked into the closer, coming back out with a bag.

His gaze never left me, and when I held out the small box, he took it with a slight frown of curiosity as I sat next him.

I watched as he opened it, his eyes scanning the charm that had our initials engraved inside. When he looked back at me, there was a flicker of something like appreciation in his eyes as he smiled.

"This is..." He trailed off, seemingly at a loss for words for the first time that night as a slow smile spread over his lips, "Thank you."

He put the ring on his finger and admired it when I showed him my hand.

"Look, I have a matching one." I said excitedly and heard his huff of laughter as he pulled me closer and kissed my cheek.

"This is lovely, baby." He murmured, making me giddy.

I beamed at his reaction, my heart swelling with happiness. Seeing Eros truly appreciate something—especially something sentimental—meant the world to me.

He wasn't one for grand displays of emotion, but the way he held my hand and kept glancing at the matching charm on my finger told me everything I needed to know.

But I wasn't done yet.

"Wait, there's more." I said, excitement creeping into my voice as I reached for the bag again.

"More?" Eros raised an eyebrow, his grip tightening slightly around my waist as if he didn't want me to move away.

I nodded, biting my lip as I pulled out another small box and handed it to him. He gave me a curious look before carefully unwrapping it.

His movements were slow and deliberate, always composed, even in moments like these. When he finally opened the box, his expression shifted into something softer—something only I ever got to see.
