J COLE FF. This book was inspired by my favorite movie/classic, The Bodyguard starring the late great Whitney Houston & Kevin Costner.
COMPLETED: FEBRUARY 2017. ❤️
After thinking over & talking to my mama, I went ahead & gave Philip a call with my answer.
I was now on my way to the address he's given me. After a long drive, I finally pulled up to the address.
First thing I noticed was the large gate & the huge house behind it. After pulling up in my truck I pressed the large black button on the intercom.
"Yes may I help you?" The man on the speaker spoke.
"Uh yeah I'm here to see Philip Jackson, I have a meeting with him here." There was silence & then I noticed a small camera staring back at me.
"Come right in." the gate slowly started opening which caused me to put my truck in drive & start driving forward.
After making it inside, I got out & walked toward the front door & pushed the doorbell. Looking around my surroundings, I took in the scenery.
Whoever I'm protecting must be someone serious. There were different men outside washing cars & limos, & women watering plants.
The door opened & there stood Philip.
"Jermaine! come on in." stepping inside, I gave Philip a friendly handshake then looked around at the foyer.
The walls were a nice white & cream color & what stood out most was the spiral stair case & crystal covered chandelier that hung from the ceiling.
"I'm glad you could make it lets get started shall we?" Philip started to walk away as I followed behind.
"First things first I should let you meet the special person you'll be protecting." Philip smiled as he continued to walk.
"I must tell you she's a little feisty, the eyes will tell you as soon as you look into them. Sometimes bossy but deep down she's a great person." he spoke in a hushed toned.
Turning the corner we were now in the kitchen & the smell of delicious food hit my nostrils making my stomach growl. A nigga skipped breakfast this morning.
"Simone I have someone for you to meet." Philip moved out the way revealing me to the most beautiful & magnificent woman I've ever laid my eyes on.
Well besides my mama.

Her brown skin was so radiant in the natural light, I couldn't help but to slightly lick my lips. Finally looking into her eyes, I noticed that she was staring directly back at me.
