Every since the stalker has been caught, life is a lot more better. Philip backed off & basically gave me my freedom back.

Everyone is much more happier & work is getting done in a timely manner. I've been thinking about talking to Jermaine about us but then again I kinda already gave up on him.

"Here." Angie laid a plate in front of me.

It was a simple home made salad. I'm trying to become healthy with my meals but it was honestly hard.

"This has no flavor." I mumbled while chewing.

"You asked for it so you better eat it." Angie replied.

I sighed before stuffing some more into my mouth. Jermaine came into the kitchen asking if we could talk.

I nodded my head before sitting the fork down & following him to a more secluded area. As soon as we sat down he began to speak.

"I'm just gonna be straight up. When I broke things off with you it was because I felt that I wasn't focused on the reason I came here in the first place. I know you took it the wrong way but I never intended to hurt you & I hope you understand that."

I nodded my head while listening.

"I understood it but it was just so hard to accept." I replied.

"Now that the stalker is gone I honestly don't even know if we should be together." I spoke honestly.

Jermaine's face grew into a frown.

"What the fuck you talking about Simone?" He asked.

I shrugged my shoulders.

"I don't know I just feel like the whole situation caused us to grow apart. How can we just jump back into this like everything is cool?" I asked.

He was silent for a little bit before speaking again.

"Nothing changed for me & you know that. I told you numerous times that I love you."

"Yeah I know." I mumbled while looking down at my hands.

"Do you love me?" He asked.

I looked at him & let out a breath that I was holding for a little while.

"You know I love you." I told him.

"Then jumping back into this shouldn't be so hard." He replied.

I remained quiet while watching him come over & sit close to me. His hand gently touched my chin causing me to look him in his eyes.

I was becoming weak.

He leaned in & kissed me causing all the doubts & worries to escape my mind. We haven't kissed in so long, I forgot how this felt.

After pecking each other's lips for a few moments we pulled away. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face.

My cheeks were so warm from blushing. Jermaine laughed at my facial expression before kissing me again.

"So what do you say? We try to make this work again?" He asked while kissing me in between sentences.

"Mhm." I mumbled into his mouth.

"Yea?"

"Yes." I smiled.

I felt complete. The stalker was gone, my career was booming, & I got my man back.

You couldn't tell me shit right now.
