Josh wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling your back into his chest. “Don't be nervous, everything will be great.” You heard the crunch of gravel in the driveway, causing you to jump out of Josh's arms. “They're here!” You exclaimed, smoothing your dress. Josh smiled, going to open the door. Marcus' beaming face appeared in the doorway as he came rushing towards you. “Merry Christmas Mum!” You smiled, pulling him away from you so you could examine him. “You look great Marcus.” He grinned, pulling a girl from the doorway. “Mum, Dad, this is my girlfriend Emmy.” You looked her over, her whole face was tense with nerves but she was pretty nonetheless. “Nice to meet you.” You said, wrapping her in a hug. “Thanks for having me.” She replied, giving you a sweet smile. “She's perfect Marcus.” Josh said, smiling proudly. Marcus blushed, “Dad!” He hissed, causing both you and Emmy to laugh. “Welcome to the family!” You said.

Tyler looked over at you, giving his signature teenage eye roll before heaving himself off of the couch and out the door. George came in from the kitchen, a steaming cup of tea in hand. “Feli here?” He asked, taking a sip. “Yep,” You replied, noticing a third figure outside, “and it looks like a tag along as well.” George put his cup down, moving the curtains aside to get a glimpse of the other guest. “She has a boyfriend?” He whispered, as the trunk outside slammed closed. “Apparently.” You replied, just as the door swung open. “Hi Daddy!” Felicity said, rushing over to give George a hug before walking over and giving you a kiss. You had to smile, she was such a daddy's girl. Tyler and the other boys came inside, stomping the snow off of your feet. “Uh, Mum, Dad, this is Sam, he's an exchange student from America and his flight was cancelled, and I didn't want him to spend Christmas at the airport.” Felicity babbled. George walked over to Sam, shaking his hand. “Merry Christmas and welcome to our home.” Felicity smiled as Sam and George shook hands. “Aren't you leaving out a little detail?” Tyler asked, leaning against the counter. “That he's your boyfrienddd.” “Tyler!” Felicity hissed as Sam blushed. George winked at you before giving Felicity a stern look. “Is this true?” He asked, trying to sound like he was scolding. Felicity nodded, “Dad-” George grinned, causing Felicity to halt her explanation. “It's fine, sweetheart.” He said.

Both Jackson and Ryder had brought their long-term girlfriends for Christmas this year, a first for your family. You gave both Chloe and Felicia a hug, “I'm so glad you guys could make it,” You said, giving them both a smile. “Glad to see you too.” Chloe replied. You spent the whole afternoon stuffing your faces and opening all the presents and were all currently chilling out in front of the tv. “So,” Felicia started, plopping herself down on the couch, next to Ryder. “We have a little extra Christmas present for you guys.” You looked at her in confusion, glancing around for another box. “We're expecting!” Ryder said, causing you to scream, jumping up and giving the both of them a huge hug. “And,” Jackson said. “We are too!” Chloe exclaimed. “Oh my god!” Jaymi said, as you guys gave hugs to the second couple as well. “This is, by far, the best present we ever could have asked for!”

JJ: The whole family sat around the Christmas table, the food was splayed out like a perfect Christmas picture. The one problem? The tension in the room didn't reflect the Christmas spirit. “So-” JJ said, taking a bite of his ham, “What do you do for a living Finn?” The boy squirmed a little in his seat as you shot eye daggers at JJ. “I'm currently a student.” Finn said, darting his blue eyes back to his plate as soon as he finished talking. “Oh, what do you study?” You asked, kicking JJ under the table as you attempted to be encouraging. “Anthropology.” He replied, giving you a polite smile. “That's really cool!” Carter piped up, trying to help you out a little, he was always a momma's boy. “Are there many jobs in that?” JJ asked, curtly. “You know what?” Madeline said, rising from the table. “Finn, I think you should help me get the desserts ready. Finn nodded, excusing himself. As soon as they were in the kitchen you turned towards JJ. “Are you serious.” You hissed. “What? Do you really think he's good enough for her?” “Yes,” You snapped, “yes I do.” Carter rolled his eyes, “Dad, would you really be that critical if it was me who brought home someone?” JJ glanced over at him, “Of course I would!” You gave him a skeptical look. “Fine,” He sighed. “I'll apologize.” He stood up, walking into the kitchen. When the group came back everyone was a lot more relaxed, “Thank you.” Madeline mouthed, giving you a wink.
