Chapter twenty four

I have officially found someone to be Alex. I think it should be Emily Rudd. I've seen her picture a lot in Wattpad and didn't know her name until a couple days ago. I'm so glad that I know now. She's so gorgeous! Also Dara Hayes as Taylor( a new character this chapter). I love her blue hair. It's so cool! Hope you enjoy this chapter.

Alex's POV

One week later...

Carter and Adam have been fighting constantly. It's really starting to get on my nerves. They're acting like little kids. Always trying to start a fight. I guess they didn't notice me on the other side of the room, on the couch. Today's fight was like this:
Adam: I can't believe you kept me away from my mate.
Carter: I didn't know she was your mate. I was just protecting her.
Adam: A lot of stuff would be better if you let me see her.
Carter: That's so not true. You would have played her and made her hate you. I'm glad I kept her from you.
Adam: You can't any better than I am. At least, I've changed my ways.
Carter: I slept with a lot of girls to get Alex out of my mind. You don't know how hard it is to grow up with someone you love and then it turns out their mate is your old best friend. I don't even know if I have a mate.
Adam: You don't love Alex. She's mine! You can't keep her from me anymore. She likes me not you.
Carter: You son of a b*tch. I swear to god I'm going to dice you up and feed you to the lions at the zoo.
Adam: Ha, Do you really think you could win a fight between us. Wanna f-

"Enough!" I yelled at them as I walked over. "All you guys ever do is fight. It's giving me a fucking headache. Can you guys get soon just once?"

"No," Carter said, stubbornly. "He kidnapped you. While you were gone, I could barely eat or sleep. He's a psycho. He needs to leave. You could get hurt because of him."

"Could you get get over that?!" Yelled Adam, angrily. "Alex did, so why can't you? He won't get hurt because I'll protect her, unlike you." 

"Figure this out, the both of you," I said, wearily. "Until you two stop fighting, I'm not talking to both of you. And Adam, stay out of my room."
Adam whimpered. He actually whimpered. The hurt in his eyes was clearly there. Carter looked angry.

"That's so not fair," Carter groaned. "You're my best friend and you just got back home. I need you!"

"Alex, you're my mate," Adam growled. "I need you more."

I took one last glance before leaving the room and storming off towards my room. Why can't they get along? That's all I'm asking for. I could just call up Delilah. She should be home by now. It's Saturday. I pressed her name in my phone and it started ringing.

"Hello, Alex!" She answered, enthusiastically. "What's up?"

"Hi, Lilah," I responded, dully. "Carter and Adam are fighting, again. I'm not talking to them until they get their shit together. So I'm bored." I've told Delilah about what's going on between me, Adam and Carter, and what happened to me and Declan.

"Wanna go to the park with me and my friend, Taylor?" Dee asked, excited. "We could have a girl's day. I know you too will get along fabulously."

"Ok cool," I said, matching her excitement. "Is it ok if I bring my skateboard?"

"Sure. We'll meet at the park halfway between your house and mine. See you!"

"Ok, sounds great. See ya."
I changed into a Sleeping With Sirens T-shirt, a pair of black skinny jeans and a pair of blackish grey Converse with splattered of black and studs. After brushing my hair and putting it in a messy fishtail side braid, I got my skateboard and headed out door. Of course, I was stopped by Adam and asked where I was going. I didn't reply as I slammed the door. What does he not understand about the silent treatment. I rode my skateboard to the park and saw Delilah with a girl with blue hair. She must be Taylor. Before I got to them my phone vibrated in my pocket. The number had no caller ID. The text said:
You need you're mate more than you think, Alex. Once you realize it, it'll be too late. You can't hide from me. I'm watching you. I'll see you in a day. Don't call the police or tell anyone. If you do, I'll kill someone you love. I told you to stay away from your mate and to reject him. I don't care who fault it is. I'll get you and make you suffer.
