My phone rang and my hand wandered on my cold blanket with eyes closed; consciousness still on dream land.
Who is calling at this holy hour? I got irritated.
My brows frowned as my eyes squinted while reading my phone. I yawned before my brain could interpret the caller's name.
Sasuke?
"Hmm.." I slurred-too lazy to say a word.
"Hinata." He spoke on the other line.
"What, Sasuke-kun?" I lazily said.
"Oi wake up! I have something important to tell!" He yelled.
"Hmm? Okay, speak." I told him.
"Listen. On Christmas day, I am going to propose to you-"
"WHAT??!!" My sleepiness was gone as fast as 0.5 seconds. "Sasuke-kun! That's beyond the plan! What are you thinking?!"
I knew it!!!
"Well-"
"Sasuke-kun, you traitor! I knew it! This whole plan of yours is just all in your favor!" My voice shook.
"Before you assume I have you in my palms, please listen to what I have to say." He calmly said.
"Our parents had talked awhile ago and your father suggested that we get engaged on the 25th at our company's christmas party. I am not doing this for my own desires. Remember this whole play we're doing is to help you." He explained.
"Then how would proposing to me would benefit me?" I argued. "Sasuke-kun, no way. I won't do that engagement thing-"
"Chill, Hinata. It's just an engagement not marriage. You just have to give your yes." He said.
"Right. Then after that is marriage. Stop fooling me, Sasuke-kun!" I raised my voice.
I heard him let out a sigh, "Just trust me, okay?"
"No." I firmly said.
"You can hate me, blame me, forget me if ever our plan fails..but I would not definitely let that happen." He said.
"...." Well, I must admit he sounded so convincing there.
"Trust me, Hinata." He contiinued.
"F-Fine!" I told him. "Just don't break the trust I am giving you, Sasuke-kun."
"I won't." He assured me. "Okay, sorry for waking you up. You can go back to sleep now."
"As if I can go back to sleep after what you told me!" I said sarcastically.
"Yeah, I shouldn't have told you. I should've just made it a surprise so we get that very shocked face of yours when I propose." He said.
"That's rude!" I shouted.
"I'm not." He chuckled on the other line. "Anyway, I'm sleeping now. Good night."
"Good night. Thank-"
And he dropped the line.
Now that's rude!
I turned to the other side trying to get some sleep again.
One wrong move Sasuke-kun and it's over.

Yay! I finally did a chapter today! Hehe! This chapter happens a few days before Christmas okay? Lol and the next chapter will take place on Christmas Day! :)
