"They call me coffee 'cause I grind so fine!" Gabriel Novak was dancing around his and Sam's hospital room, occasionally shooting pickup lines at his roommate. Said roommate was about ready to jump off a bridge because his hyper friend would just not sit still. Apparently he was bored, so Sam grabbed his arm and tugged Gabriel towards the door.

"Oh? Getting all dominant, are we?" Gabriel smirked up at Sam. "I like this ..."

"Shut up, you little shit. I'm taking you to the Banter Room."

Sam shook his head as he said it. It was Emma who had named the room after her, Bethany, and Gabriel had claimed and remade it. It was previously a small waiting room at the end of the hall for people to wait for their relatives to be discharged on the day they were supposed to, but it was pretty much unneeded as none of the occupants of that hall were leaving the hospital anytime soon. The three of them had transformed the room with the help of Balthazar before Michael and Sam had arrived. Lucifer had been there two years ago as well, Michael arriving a year after, but he was apparently 'too lazy' to help with the renovating.

Sam dragged the trickster down the hall, but his grip was unneeded as Gabriel broke free and skipped down the corridor, singing happily. He reached the little red door first and burst through it, Sam following a second later.

"You're ovary-acting." Lucifer was sneakily punning, grinning slyly at Emma, who, in turn, punched him in the privates.

"Ooh ..." Everyone in the room hissed simultaneously.

"You are a fucking bitch, you fucking disgrace to humanity. What are you, fucking Satan?"

Lucifer shrugged.

"How would you like me to make fun of your fucking cancer, hm? Guess that's why you're such a fucking dick." Emma smirked jokingly at Lucifer, who pretended to weep.

I love that word - weep

The chairs bolted to the walls were still there, but were more cushioned. Colourful blankets and throws were dotted across the seats, and patterned bean-bags were scattered throughout the room. The walls were painted with bright and happy colours of the rainbow, with several drawings and graffiti by the five patients adorning them. There was an armchair hanging from the ceiling by several ropes, and Emma was currently spinning around in it. Bethany was screaming and spasming over a game of COD on an X-Box and a huge TV in the corner. Michael was lounging on a bean-bag beside a small bookcase, flipping through a massive hardback. Lucifer was chilling on the long row of chairs on the wall, blankets and pillows piled around him and occasionally kicking Emma's chair to annoy her. Balthazar seemed to be hiding from his colleagues so that he wouldn't have to do his job, and was relaxing on the row of chairs opposite Lucifer's.

Gabriel screeched and dove for the mini ball pit in the other corner, immediately finding the secret place where he hid his sweets. Sam flopped down beside Balthazar, who lazily landed him a high-five.

Bethany suddenly screamed extremely loudly as someone noscoped her and scooted her bean-bag back in indignation. Emma jumped, causing her to fall out of her chair and knock Lucifer - who had just raised his leg to kick her again, to his mistake - and herself into the ball-pit, where they both toppled into Gabriel, who also screamed. Sam and Balthazar watched the chaos unfold with amused expressions, and Michael snapped, "Mind keeping it down?"

"So I heard you need a little help for your next thing." Balthazar commented to Sam, smirking a little.

"Yeah. We need to get the teacher not to come in." Sam sighed.

"Consider it done." Balthazar said, and Sam wondered just what illegal thing Balthazar was going to do to that poor defenceless teacher.

Sam was shaking his head as him and Gabriel made their way to the primary school just down the block from the hospital. Gabriel was tagging along just behind, and had already made five remarks about how hot Sam looked in 'teacher clothes'.

Literally, I'm just wearing a white shirt, a tie, and dress pants.

Gabriel was wearing the same, but did he see Sam making inappropriate comments about how the trousers hugged his ass perfectly? No.

But, Sam did admit, he was making them in his mind.

Wow, I need to stop.

"They're called eyebrows 'cause my eyes be browsing your fine ass."

"Damn it, Gabe!"

They reached the school and confidently walked in, remembering Gabriel's advice on looking like you belonged. They approached the class of seven year olds, and Sam shut the door as Gabriel paraded up to the front of the room. The children all fell silent and looked at him, innocent faces showing confusion.

"Hiya, kiddos! I'm Mr Sexy, and this is my classroom assistant Mr Hottie, and we're taking class today!" Gabriel said brightly, an evil grin dominating his face. "Meaning - no work!"

The class cheered. Sam put a hand to his face, wondering why the hell he agreed to this.

An hour later, and there was paint all over the room, about half the class were snacking on mountains of sweets, the other half running rampage around the school. Sam managed to find them while Gabriel was making friends with a little kid called Ryan who hated his classmates (or just people and being social in general) and was chilling in the back corner on his tablet.

"Time for PE!" Gabriel enthused once everyone was in the gym, and the kids cheered yet again. Sam dragged out a huge bag of footballs and released them. The game of dodgeball turned into a free-for-all, kids nearly murdering each other with the balls, being complete savages and taking out their enemies, and Sam spotted Gabriel crouching down to talk to Ryan. His roommate handed the kid a ball and guided his hand towards a big blond child who was running around picking on all the smaller kids.

"Is that Ethan?" Gabriel was saying. Ryan nodded shyly, and Gabriel smirked. "Get him."

Ryan launched the ball fiercely at Ethan, and it struck home - the kid let out an inhuman shriek and was knocked backwards to the floor by the force of the ball. Gabriel high-fived Ryan and turned to Sam, winking at him, then turned back, smiling as Ryan's face broke out into a toothy grin and ran off into the crowd.

Maybe this seventh thing wasn't so bad.

Sam was trying to sleep.

He couldn't because he kept thinking he heard the word 'woof'. Someone was woofing in his room, he knew it!

It was pitch black, the middle of the night, and yet again he heard the soft 'woof' from the other side of the room.

There was a small burst of giggling as Sam groaned, and he knew instantly that it was Gabe.

"Flip sake, Gabe!" Sam huffed.

"Sorry." Gabriel's voice carried across to him, and Sam could sense the mischievous tone.

He felt himself slipping into sleep just as he caught the sight out of the corner of his eye of Gabriel slipping out of the room again.
