Gabe walked in on Sam while he was eating a cabbage. His moose husband was crunching away as he sat on his bed, reading, the large, round vegetable in his hand. Gabe watched Sam raise the cabbage, and his entire face was hidden from view as a huge CRUNCH sounded.
Gabe bit his lip. Then, a huge burst of laugher erupted from him.
"What?" Sam looked at his husband with an inquisitive expression on his face.
Gabe didn't reply; he was too busy laughing himself limp on his bed.
"What?" Sam repeated, a grin on his face, his voice tinged with the hint of a giggle.
"That - that noise!" Gabe screeched, holding his sides.
"What, this?" Sam took another bite of the cabbage. Gabe laughed even harder.
Sam started to chuckle at Gabe's amusing laugh.
Within minutes, the two were crying with laughter, lying on their beds.
Gabe calmed down first, wiping tears from his cheeks. Sam sat up, smiling sweetly over at him.
"I love you." His voice was laced with a giggle.
Gabe launched himself at Sam, sitting on his lap, taking a hold of the moose's face, wiping the tears from Sam's cheeks with his thumbs.
Golden eyes stared lovingly into chocolate eyes.
"I love you."
