   Y/N'S POV

  Bruce had been very distant lately. He was not the most open person either, so it was kind of hard to figure out what was really bothering him. I just knew as his wife, I had to find some way for him to at least tell me that he wasn't about to do something stupid.
  I was sitting in the lab. Bruce and Tony were in here as well, yet I was really lost as to what was happening right now. They were working on something that was too up there for me to understand. I was a history girl, not a science girl. Even though science and history were connected, I was still trying to grasp many concepts within science.
  
  Bruce may break down many scientific terms for me on a daily basis, but it was rare that I understood them after he had broken them down for me. Everyone had that subject that they just struggled with. Science was that subject for me.

  When I brought myself out of own my thoughts, Tony was trying to get my attention from across the room.

  I double blinked and apologized saying,"Sorry, Stark. What is it?"

  Tony chuckled but said,"Are you all right? You looked like you were really thinking life over over there."

  I waved it off and said,"I am fine, Tony. Do not worry. Brucie, are you okay over there?"

  Bruce was gripping the table, and I looked at Tony. Tony innocently shrugged his shoulders, before he granted me a minute with Bruce. I walked over to Bruce and placed my hand over his own.

  Bruce gave me a weak smile, but he tried to push me away saying,"Darling, I am fine. Should you not be with Peter?"

  I shook my head and sternly said,"No, I am staying with you. You need me, Bruce. What is bothering you? I want to help."

  Bruce sighed and said,"It is nothing, honey, just leave it alone. You do not understand."

  "Bruce, I...I just want to help you. You do not have to distance yourself from me. I love you and need to know what is wrong with you. Please, let me in...Just talk to me. I will listen."

  Bruce pulled me close as he said to me,"I am sorry, Y/N. I have just been stressed and distracted lately. I do not want to hurt you, when I turn into the other guy. I know you are a sweet girl, and I do not want you to be afraid of me. You would be better off with Tony or Clint."

  I shook my head and held his face saying,"Bruce, I only want you. Sure, Tony may have his moments and Clint, too, but neither of them was the one I fell in love with. Bruce, I do not care about the other guy, because I love him, too. He is a part of you, and I love every part of you. You are amazing and say things I could never understand, but that only makes me want to learn more from you. There is nothing I would not do for you, because you are the love of my life. I do not regret being with you, and I hope you feel the same about me."

  When I finished my confession, Bruce had a huge smile on his face.

  I smiled back and wrapped my arms around his neck saying,"What do you say? Put up with me for a long time?"

  Bruce laughed but nodded saying,"I love you, too, Y/N. I am sorry for pushing you away. Forgive me?"

  I nodded and kissed Bruce slowly. Bruce shyly kissed back, but eventually relaxed into the kiss.

  Tony whistled saying,"Get some, Hulkie!!"

  I pulled away from the kiss, and Bruce was clearly embarrassed by what Tony had said. I smiled and kissed his cheek, until he relaxed. Tony sent me a smile, before I sent him a smile back.

  Bruce calmly said,"Y/N, would you mind helping me with this? Not you, Tony."

  I chuckled, while Tony joked saying,"Some best friend you are, Banner. I need a new one."

  Bruce just smiled at Tony, and Tony smiled back at him.

  I pinched Bruce's cheeks saying,"Aww, you guys had a moment!! That is so cute, Brucie."

  Bruce blushed looking down, while Tony smirked to himself. I helped Bruce with the chemicals, and Tony took the calculations and observations. Bruce gently took the chemicals from me, before I leaned on his shoulder.

  Tony said,"I think someone is tired. Y/N, do not fall."

  I quickly caught my balance, giving Tony a nod in thank you.

  Tony nodded back, before Bruce wrapped an arm around me saying,"Ready to head up?"

  I nodded, and Bruce helped me out of the chair. I leaned on him for support, while yawning. We finally made it to Bruce's room, before he lied me down.

  I kissed his cheek saying,"I love you, Banner."

  Bruce smiled and said,"I love you, too, Y/N. Thanks for not worrying about the other guy coming out."

  I smiled back and stroked his cheek saying,"Who, Hulk? Do not worry, I have a soft spot for him. Bruce, I do not care how everyone else sees you, because I will love you no matter what. You are talented in everything you do, and I am glad Tony introduced me to you. If he had not introduced me to you, I would have been with Ryan."

  Bruce flinched, and I noticed a hint of green appear on his face.

  I immediately frowned but quickly said,"That would be bad, because he did not really care about me anyway. Bruce, please calm down. I will always be here for you, okay? Hulk or no Hulk."

  Bruce slowly calmed down, and I noticed the hint of green that was just in his eyes was no longer there. I put my hand over my chest, but I had to get comfortable again. It was the most annoying thing in the world to me...

  Bruce kissed my forehead and said,"If you wake back up and can't sleep, I will be in the lab with Tony, okay? Love you."

  I smiled and kissed his nose saying,"Okay, Banner. I will remember that. I love you, too."

  Bruce smiled and slowly let go of my hand, before he left. You couldn't tell me that you didn't want to have a Bruce Banner in your life.
