   Y/N'S POV

  Right now, I was really worried. Right, maybe I should introduce myself first. My name is Y/N, and I was the wife of James "Logan" Howlett. It felt awkward calling him James, so I just called him Logan all the time.
  Logan was not your average man, but his courage was beyond measure. He always treated me like a princess and the most important person in his world. Yet, I was worried right now, because lately Logan appeared to be afraid to be near me.

  The Professor looked at me, and I noticed he was trying to get my attention.

  I double blinked and quickly apologized saying,"I am sorry, Professor. I have a habit of worrying about Logan. He seems afraid to be near me, and I do not know why. Professor, do you know why he is acting like this?"

  Charles shook his head but suggested to me,"Maybe it has something to do with his past. Logan has suffered greatly, and I fear it is starting to take a hold of him. Try and comfort him. That is all you can do."

  I nodded and shook the Professor's hand in thank you, before I headed out the door. I made my way down the long hallways and bumped into someone.
I thought it was Logan or Scott, but it was Jean. I rolled my eyes, because she has had an issue with me from Day 1.

  I was completely unaware of what I did, but everything was always my fault.
  Was I the only one that could not stand people like that? Anyway, Jean smirked and looked me over.

  She rudely said,"I do not have time to mess around with you, but maybe you should be more respectful and watch where you are going. Yeah?"

  I scoffed and yelled at Jean,"Watch where I am going? YOU GOT IN MY WAY!! WHAT'S YOUR ISSUE, HUH?? WHAT DID I DO TO YOU? I-"

  I stopped when a gentle hand pressed against my shoulder. Scott.

  He gently pushed me away from Jean and cleared his throat saying,"Y/N, a word please?"

  I sighed and nodded, before Scott pulled me outside. He leaned against the wall and sent me a soft smile. I quickly fixed my attitude and smiled back.

  Scott put his hand on my shoulder and said,"What is going on, Y/N? Normally, you would have just ignored Jean, but why fight back? What else is bothering you?"

  I sighed and looked down at the necklace Logan gave me for our anniversary. Scott realized what was going on and sat down beside me.

  Scott put his hand over mine and genuinely said,"I know Logan has been different lately, but he still loves you, okay? You are a valuable member to this team, and I know Storm would be highly upset if you left. Storm would have a fit."

  I giggled and smiled weakly, looking down. Ororo had always been the older sister figure to me, and Storm introduced Logan and I to one another.
  I owed her the world for giving me the chance to meet a man like Logan. If I didn't meet him, then I would've been with a loser.

  Scott lifted my chin and looked me in the eyes saying,"Logan does love you dearly, and we all see that. He may be stubborn and agressive, but that demeanor changes around you. When Logan is around you, he is very laid-back and just a nice guy. Please cheer up and everything will work out."

  I slowly nodded and hugged Scott. Scott hugged back and talked to me for a while, before someone softly knocked on the door. I looked towards the door and saw Logan.

  Logan smiled at me and said,"Hey darlin, where have you been? I missed you."

  Logan did not notice Scott, and maybe Scott had a point. Scott chuckled and sent me a wink, which caused Logan to see him standing there.
  Logan just shook his head and walked over to me. He went to touch me, but he hesitated and pulled back.

  I looked Logan in the eyes as I said to him,"Logan, we have talked over this. You are not going to hurt me. I realize that, Logan, I do. Look, I want to be with you, and your fears are not going to change that. I love you, Howlett."

  Logan smiled and lifted my chin saying,"I love you, too, Y/N. I am sorry for being so afraid. I just get scared, sometimes, but I will work on it. Forgive me?"

  I nodded and leaned in, kissing Logan slowly. Logan kissed back and brought me closer. He stoked my cheek, while I put my hand over his. Logan chuckled but intertwined his fingers with mine.

  I smiled in the kiss and pulled away saying,"I am tired. Lay down with me?"

  Logan took my hand and let me lie down first. He got in next, and I immediately snuggled into him. Logan kissed my cheek and ran his fingers through my hair.
  I leaned into his touch and played with his hands. Logan just let me, until I found myself falling into a comfortable sleep.

   HOURS LATER...(STILL Y/N'S POV)

  I woke up to seeing Logan tossing and turning in his sleep. I immediately frowned and hovered over him. I stroked his cheek slowly and talked to him. After a while, I noticed Logan stop whimpering.
  Logan slowly opened his eyes, and I pulled him in for a hug. Logan hugged back, and I felt so protected in his arms.

  Logan gave me a kiss and said,"I love you."

  I smiled at Logan saying,"I love you, too, Logan. I love you, too. If you need anything from me, just tell me. I'm right here beside you, Wolverine."
