Y/N'S POV
"Steven, did you really think that was a good idea? Steve, I told you to leave Bucky alone."
Right now, I had found myself taking care of Steve's arm. For some reason, he thought it was a good idea to go and try to help Bucky out when he was not thinking straight in the first place.
Let's just say: Bucky ended up hurting Steve a little bit, while Wanda and Nat took care of Bucky. Sam, luckily, was able to separate Bucky from Steve.Steve sighed and nodded saying,"Yes, I did think that was a good idea. Darling, why are you always being so negative?"
I rolled my eyes and mumbled,"Sorry, Steven, for not being patriotic and not doing what is best for my country. I am so sorry."
Steve just looked at me, and I said,"What? Was it something I said?"
Steve got up and shook his head saying,"Yes, it was something you said. I may love you and I always will, but I am tired of dealing with this. I am going to go ahead and head down to the meeting."
I just nodded and sighed, because I was starting to feel bad about how I just talked to Steve. When Steve and I first got together, we never argued at all. The only thing we ever argued about was how I was the most beautiful girl Steve had ever seen.
Now, we basically argued about almost everything, but I did love him and wanted that to change. Maybe I should apologize. Yeah, I needed to apologize.I got up and went to look for Steve, but I spotted Bucky walking down the hall.
I walked up to him, and Bucky groaned saying,"Hey. Is Steve around? Why did he have to hit me so hard?"I laughed and said,"Because you basically tried to jump him, Bucky. Steve already headed down to the meeting, Buck. I see you can still talk and walk, so he did not do that much damage."
Bucky rolled his eyes, before I followed Bucky into the meeting. Bucky immediately headed to Steve, and I guess he was going to apologize to Steve.
I sat down next to Tony and before Tony could even speak, I said,"Don't even think about it, Stark. I am not in the mood."
Tony pouted and slumped back in his chair, before Thor walked into the room and he yelled,"LADY Y/N?!!"
I immediately smiled and got up from my chair.
Thor ran to me and embraced me in a hug, before he spun me around and put me down saying,"It is great to see you! It has been ages!!"
I laughed and said,"Thor, you just saw me yesterday."
Thor just smiled and I sat down, before Thor pulled me in his lap and I said,"Thor, I have to sit in my own seat. We are not a couple."
Thor just tightened his grip around me, while I noticed Steve looking at us from across the table. He did not look happy, which was not a look I liked seeing from him.
Sure, we may have had a hard time getting along lately, but I still loved him and I was sure he felt the same. While Natasha and Tony led the meeting, I noticed how Steve barely paid attention and his eyes never ceased to meet my own. I barely paid attention to what Thor said, because I wanted to apologize to Steve so badly and tell him how sorry I was.
When the meeting was over, Steve made his way over to me and said,"Sweetheart, I am-"
I cut Steve off by placing a kiss on his lips and slowly pulling away saying,"No, I need to apologize first. I clearly made fun of you, and I am sorry. Steve, you are fine just the way you are, and it was wrong of me to mock what makes you you. I know we argue, but I do love you, and I want to try to stop arguing all the time. Forgive me?"
Steve nodded and hugged me saying,"I am sorry, too, Y/N. I forgive you, too. Darling, I love you. I missed you."
I smiled and hugged Steve tighter saying,"Aww, Captain, I missed you, too. I love you more."
