   Y/N'S POV

  Right now, I was leaning against Tony's chest, while he worked on one of his suits.

  I was really bored and whined saying,"Tonyyyy..."

  Tony jumped and dropped his screwdriver on the floor.

  I giggled but smiled nervously saying,"I'm sorry?"

  Tony sighed, yet he kissed my cheek saying,"It's all right, baby. Can you go get Banner please?"

  I nodded and pecked Tony's lips, before I made my way up the stairs of Tony's workshop.
  Once I made it up the stairs, I spotted Bruce talking to Thor.

  Thor saw me and picked me up in a hug saying,"Lady Y/N, YOU ARE HERE AS WELL!! I MISSED YOU!!"

  I giggled and kissed Thor's cheek saying,"I missed you, too, Thor. How is Asgard doing? Loki making any progress?"

  I jumped, when I heard a voice say,"Darling, I did not ask you to be concerned, but it is always lovely to see you. I am making as much progress as I want to make."

  I blushed, when I saw Loki standing right behind me.

  Loki chucked and kissed my hand saying,"Thank you for worrying about me, Y/N, but I am marvelous. I will see you later."

  I nodded and turned to Bruce saying,"Tony needs you downstairs, Brucie."

  Bruce laughed and then smiled, making his way down to Tony's workshop. I sat down on the sofa and heard footsteps.
  Those footsteps belonged to Rhodes, who was in his uniform. Rhode sent me a smile, but his smile dropped when he noticed my facial expression.

  He rushed to my side and wrapped his arms around me saying,"What is it, Y/N? Are you and Tony okay?"

  I buried my face in Rhodes' jacket saying,"I...I think Tony is upset with me. I was just playing around, and I know I gave him a hard time. Rhodes, I just...I hope he isn't tired of me already."

  Rhodes held out his hand, and I took it in my own. I tightened my grip on Rhodes' hand and didn't want to let go.

  Rhodes tried to comfort me by saying,"It is okay, Y/N, just let it out. Tony does love you, and he just gets upset when his suits or anything work related is involved. Do not get all worked up for nothing. Tony feels no different than he did a few hours ago. Y/N, there is nothing you can do that can EVER make Tony stop loving you. Trust me, I know these things."

  "Thanks, War Machine, for helping me. By the way, I thought Iron Patriot was cool, too."

  Rhodes chuckled and gave me a kiss saying,"Aww, thanks, honey. Now, go and see Tony."

  I went to walk down, but I did not want to go by myself. I gave Rhodes pleading eyes to at least walk me to the door.
  Rhodes continued to hold my hand, and I smiled warmly at him. Then, he led me down the stairs and into Tony's workshop. Tony had his speakers blasting with music, so he did not even hear me calling his name.

  Rhodes rolled his eyes and yelled,"TONY!!"

  Tony heard Rhodes and turned off his music.

  He looked at Rhodes and asked him,"What, buddy?"

  Rhode motioned to me, and Tony's eyes immediately softened.

  He got up and said,"Thanks, Rhodes. I will talk to you later. C'mon, baby. Jarvis, do me a favor and lock this place down, please."

  Rhodes kissed my cheek and hugged me, before he jogged outside and went back to base. Tony led me up the stairs and into his bedroom. He motioned for me to sit down and sat beside me. I turned away and looked down at my hands.

  Tony lifted my chin and stroked my cheek asking me,"Hey, what is it, beautiful?"

  I bit my lip and replied,"Nothing, Tony. I'm really being melodramatic."

  Tony pulled me close and held my hands saying,"Why can you not look at me, then? Y/N, what is bothering you?"

  I looked up at Tony's bright eyes and rested my hands on his face.

  Tony leaned into my touch, while I softly said,"Tony, do I annoy you?"

  Tony opened his eyes and shook his head saying,"No, beautiful, you could never annoy me. Is this about earlier? Y/N, listen to me. I did not mean to yell at you, okay? I just wanted to finish my work, but I did not realize how bad your feelings would be hurt by it. Sometimes, I just forget to slow down and pay more attention to you. I'm sorry for that. I still love you, and I always will."

  I put my forehead on Tony's and mumbled,"You promise, Iron Man?"

  Tony chuckled and lightly kissed my nose saying,"I promise, beautiful. I promise."

  Tony hugged me, and I hugged back. I called Tony's name, and he hmmed in response.

  I held Tony's chin and kissed him softly saying,"You know I would never hurt you, right? You have that look in your eye, and I know you are thinking of her again."

  Tony went to apologize for it, but I put a finger over his lips and smiled at him saying,"It is fine, Stark. I understand, but just hear me out. I love you for who you are, and I am not going to let one of your exes, or even Pepper, tell me how I am supposed to feel about you. Tony, there are millions of other guys in this world, but I would never give you up for any of them. You are irreplaceable. You mean the world to me. Plus, I need Iron Man in my life. I love him."

  Tony's brown eyes filled with tears, and he hugged me so tightly. I laughed and rested my hand on his face.

  "I love you, Anthony."

  Tony kissed my forehead and said,"I love you, too, Y/N. I love you, too, forever."
