   Y/N'S POV

Tony and I had only been divorced for a couple of weeks, but every day felt like torture. We mutually decided on a divorce, because we had had a very heated argument. It had nothing to do with him being Iron Man or having many responsibilities, but how often the two of us butted heads.
The second I left Tony, I felt like I had made the worse mistake of my life. How many guys could I find like Tony? Probably none, yet I had to find my way back to Tony. Maybe he felt the same? Maybe he wasn't that much better off than I was or am?

The photos that had been released showed that he was just fine, but I knew Tony liked an audience. Maybe he was hurting as well.
Since I had connections, I found out where Tony would be this afternoon. He was going to hold a party tonight at one of his many houses, so that was where I was going.

After I got ready, I grabbed my phone and handbag. When I pulled up to the house, it was beyond crowded. It looked like the whole city was here.
I got out and walked inside. Before I could make it to the center of the room, someone pulled me into their arms.

I stepped on the guy's toe with my heel; he screamed in pain. Before he could get a single hit in, he was thrown over the bar and into many of the expensive bottles.

  Rhodes was my savior.

I hugged him in thank you, and he said,"It's good to see you, Y/N. You look lovely."

I replied,"You look great, too, Rhodes. Do you know where Tony is?"

Rhodes said,"Yeah, but maybe we should wait a couple of minutes. May I?"

I was confused as to why I couldn't go after Tony, but I knew Rhodes cared for me like a brother. He was most likely trying to protect me from something.

I placed my hand in Rhodes, and he led me into the crowd.

I leaned on his shoulder, and Rhodes looked down at me saying,"Have you been taking care of yourself?"

I said,"Yes, I have. I mean I'm hurting, but I know I still have a life ahead of me. Um, has Tony talked about me?"

  Rhodes replied,"Yes, he's mentioned you."

When Rhodes became quiet, I knew he wasn't going to say anything else.

When he sent me a smile, I said in a playful tone,"Fine, keep your secrets."

Rhodes chuckled, but then he looked concerned. I followed his eyes and saw Tony in his Iron Man suit. He looked like he was going to throw up any minute now.

Rhodes let go of me and said,"You got him? I'll make everyone leave."

I rushed on stage and pushed the woman off Tony. She fell on to someone, but I was more worried about Tony.

I kept Tony steady, and he looked down at me saying,"Y/N, hey! Everyone, Y/N's here!"

I smiled to everyone, but then I grabbed a hold of Tony's armor saying,"You don't look too good, Stark. Let's get you to bed. The party's over."

I tried to pull Tony along, but he pulled me close saying,"I'm not tired, baby. The party just started."

As everyone cleared out, Tony threw up all over the stage. I made sure he didn't get me, and I helped him back up to his feet.

  Tony said,"Now, I'm tired."

I shook my head and got Tony out of his suit. He crashed on the bed. I helped him into something to sleep in, then I went to leave.

Tony grabbed my dress and said,"Y/N, stay?"

I had no idea whether Tony would be angry in the morning, but I couldn't leave him by himself.

I got in with him, and Tony mumbled,"I've...missed...you, princess."

My eyes widened, and then Tony fell asleep. With that, I fell asleep myself.

...

When I woke up, Tony was still asleep. I wanted to stay with him, but I knew we weren't together anymore. It wasn't my place to stay any longer. Maybe I shouldn't have stayed last night either, but it felt good being in Tony's arms again.

I tried to get up, and I heard,"You don't have to go, Y/N."

I turned my head, and Tony smiled weakly at me.

He said,"I knew you still loved me. You care, Y/N."

I stroked his cheek saying,"You're right, Stark. I do still love you, and I do care. I don't want to be divorced anymore."

Tony nuzzled his nose against my own and replied,"I love you, too, Y/N. I don't want to be divorced neither. I promise no more drinking or parties, Mrs. Stark."

"Good, because if it happens again, I'm going to take you down in front of your guests. All of them."

  "I'm scared, Y/N."

  "Anthony..."

  "Sorry, babe."
