   Y/N'S POV

  As I made my way down the hall, I accidentally bumped into Uncle Tony.

  I immediately apologized and picked up his stuff saying,"I am so sorry. I just...was not watching where I was going."

  Tony raised his eyebrow at first, but he put his hand on my shoulder saying,"It is all right, honey. Do not worry about it. Hey, you okay? You seem a little jumpy."

  I shook it off and said,"Yeah, I am fine, Uncle Tony. I should probably go head down for breakfast now. Bye!"

  I waved at him, before Uncle Tony just chuckled and waved back. I could tell he knew something was up with me, but I was not ready to talk about it yet. I jogged down the stairs and noticed everyone was already gathered inside the kitchen.

  Uncle Bruce went to sit down, but he saw me coming down. He pulled out a chair for me.

  I smiled and stepped back saying,"No, it is okay, I can always sit on the couch."

  Bruce gave me a look like I better sit down, so I just obeyed. He kissed my cheek and just pulled up another one of Tony's chairs to the table.
  Uncle Tony had been working on this huge project lately; however, he thought it was a good idea to sell off some of his furniture.

  I thought it was a stupid idea, since he probably had the money anyway. Knowing Uncle Tony, he probably sold them because they reminded him of Pepper again. Yeah, they were still having a rough time, so Uncle Tony was not in the best mood right now.
  Anyway, I made it my goal to make him smile and laugh at least four times a week. It's the least I could do after the Avengers took me in and cared for me all these years. Captain America was the one who saved me, which I immediately knew was Uncle Steve because of the similarities between Uncle Steve and Cap.

  Plus, I may have read some of his comics that were passed down from my real family. They abandoned me, but I had a new and a real one now. I did not even realize that I basically had been drowning in my own thoughts.
  I was brought back into reality by someone snapping their fingers in front of my face.

  Uncle Clint chuckled and said,"Did you have a long night, Y/N? Did you meet someone?"

  My cheeks immediately heated up, while some of the Avengers awwed.

  I groaned and scolded them saying,"Would you guys stop it?!! He will not be interested in me for long. Probably..."

  Uncle Steve lifted my chin and softly said,"Darling, if he cannot learn to respect you and love you for the amazing girl that you are, then he is not worth it."

  I smiled at Uncle Steve saying,"Thanks, Captain. Well, I guess I am going then. See ya!!"

  I went to get up, but Uncle Sam defensively said,"Going where? Now, we did not talk about you just getting up and going somewhere with the guy! What is his name?"

  I noticed Uncle Tony was now sitting down beside Uncle Rhodes; Uncle Tony had his computer out, ready to research the guy. 

  I rolled my eyes but sighed saying,"His name is John. Guys, I promise I will be fine, okay? We are just going to grab something to eat and come back when we are done."

  They all sighed, and Uncle Bucky said,"I think we should let her go. She needs to get out of the Tower more, and we have not let her out lately with everything that has been going on."

  I smiled at Uncle Bucky and sent him a silent thank you, before he sent me a wink and nodded back.

  Uncle Sam pushed him out of his chair, while Uncle Tony ran his fingers through his hair saying,"I do not know, kid. I do not know if I am ready for this yet."

  The guys awwed at Uncle Tony, while they tried hugging him. He pushed them off and looked back at me. I looked over at Auntie Nat and gave her pleading eyes to say something.

  She nodded and got up yelling,"HEY!! NOW, EVERYONE LISTEN TO ME!! Y/N is ready to finally take this big step and try to get to know more people, even if it means getting out of this Tower. I know you guys all love and want to protect Y/N, but you gotta let her grow up on her own. She is almost a grown woman now, but not yet, who needs to make her own decisions. Can all of you respect that?"

  I looked at all of my uncles in the room, while Auntie Wanda sent me a soft smile and motioned something to me. I nodded and turned back to Uncle Tony.

  He gave in and said,"All right, go!!"

  I immediately smiled and attacked him in kisses. Uncle Tony chuckled, but he just kissed my forehead. I rushed to my room to get ready. I got dressed into the best dress I could find, before Auntie Nat and Auntie Wanda came up and tried to help me get ready.
  Once they were done, they turned me around. I smiled at myself in the mirror. This was the most beautiful outfit I had ever had the opportunity to wear. It was all thanks to my family. I turned around and hugged them, before they hugged back.

  Auntie Nat wiped my tears and smirked saying,"Do not cry, honey, or you will ruin your makeup again. Plus, you are way too beautiful for that."

  I smiled at Auntie Nat, before Auntie Wanda handed me my purse saying,"Remember just be yourself and know we will be here. Good luck and have fun!!"

  Auntie Wanda and Auntie Nat, both kissed my cheeks, and I carefully made my towards the front. I heard the doorbell go off and Uncle Steve walked up to me, while Uncle Tony got the door.

  Uncle Steve removed a strand of hair from in front of my face saying,"You look amazing, darling. I always knew you were gonna be special ever since I first saved you. Remember: If anything happens or you feel uncomfortable, just call me and I will be there in no time, okay? Love you."

  I smiled and hugged Uncle Steve tight saying,"I love you, more, Captain."

  I pulled away from the hug, before John walked in with flowers in his hands. He looked very nice, and I noticed he was looking at me. I immediately felt insecure and looked down.

  I could feel his footsteps, before he lifted my chin and sent me a smile saying,"There is no need for that, Y/N. You are gorgeous, and I would not take this back for anything. Just relax. I am right here with you. Ready?"

  I took a deep breath and turned back to my family. They all gave me smiles, and I could tell Uncle Sam, Uncle Steve, Uncle Bruce, and Uncle Tony were holding back tears. Uncle Clint, Uncle Bucky, and Uncle Thor turned away, while Thor slowly ate his pop-tarts. Auntie Wanda and Auntie Nat just gave me encouraging smiles and blew me kisses.

  I smiled and blew kisses back at them, before I linked my arm in John's and said,"I am ready. Let's go."

  John smiled and opened the door for me, before I smiled and walked through.

  John led me to his car, before he kissed my cheek and chuckled saying,"You are so adorable, Y/N. Hey, babe, it will be okay. Trust me, you are safe with me and you always will be."

  I found myself getting lost in John's eyes but snapped out of it and got in the passenger seat. John jogged over to his side and got in, before he drove us to our date. This really was a big step for me; especially, because I always felt locked up in the Avengers Tower.
  I never really left, because of everyone else's fear and my own of the impossible. Maybe it was my own fault, but I had the chance now to finally be myself and have a good time with someone else.
