   Y/N'S POV

As I sat on my bed, someone knocked on my door and I yelled,"COME IN!!"

Auntie Nat opened the door and asked me,"How are you feeling? Are you all right?"

I just smiled at Auntie Nat and said,"I am all right, Auntie Nat. Thank you. Dad told me how you helped him and Uncle Buck escape from Black Panther."

Auntie Nat put her hand on my leg saying,"I did. Figured it was time I repaid him for being a good friend to me all those years. Why do you ask?"

I shook my head saying,"No reason. Dad just seems a little down, and I know it is because of what happened between him and Uncle Tony. Do you think they will ever get back to the way they were before? I know they did not always like each other, but come to trust each other again and have a decent conversation?"

Auntie Nat sent me a small smile saying,"I am sure they will, but it will take time. Why don't you go and check on your father?"

I nodded and got out of bed, before I put on my slippers and completely ignored the fact that I was wearing Winnie The Pooh pajamas. Hey, I had no shame whatsoever.
I ran down to Dad's room, but I also noticed Uncle Buck in the kitchen sitting at one of the island bars alone.

I frowned and sat down beside him, before he turned to me and said,"Hey, Y/N. What are you doing in here?"

I slowly put my hand over Uncle Buck's and said,"Whatever you need to talk about, Uncle Buck, I am here for you. I may not be my father, but I do share his concern for you. You are my family."

Uncle Buck smiled at me and nodded, before he sighed saying,"I cannot help but feel like I have caused enough trouble, Y/N. You may have been a little younger than when I first ran into your father, but I still remember how upset he looked when he realized I did not remember him. He has done so much for me, but I have caused so much pain to many other people. I cannot even sleep without thinking about what things would have been like if I had never gone on that mission."

I knew exactly what mission Uncle Buck was talking about, because I had heard so much about it growing up from Dad.

I gave Uncle Buck's hand a squeeze saying,"Uncle Buck, you should not think like that. If you never went with Dad on that train, then he would not have been reminded he had a reliable friend. He had nobody, BUT you, Uncle Bucky. You may have been presumed dead and Dad spent many years grieving, but you are back now, and that mission was not a complete failure in his book. He had you, even if it was just for a moment, but that short moment mattered to him. Trust me, it does. Dad always reminds me that I need friends like that in my life, even though I sometimes would rather be alone."

Uncle Bucky held my chin and kissed my forehead saying,"Thank you, Y/N. You are the best niece an uncle could ever ask for. Do you prefer to be alone because you need it, or because you are afraid no one will pay you any attention? Y/N, tell me the truth. Hey, Clint."

Uncle Clint nodded to Uncle Buck, before he turned to me and worriedly asked me,"Y/N, are you all right? You look upset."

When I did not answer, Uncle Clint said in a hurt tone,"Oh, so it is like that. Well, I will just be down the hall if you feel I am useful to you."

I went to say something, but Uncle Clint just smiled at me and walked out saying,"It is fine, honey. I was just joking. You two carry on. Sorry for ruining your moment."

I smiled and turned back to Uncle Buck saying,"To answer your question, I just...I have a lot to look up to being Dad's daughter, and I do not want to accidentally ruin everything because of a stupid mistake I may make in the future or even today."

Uncle Buck chuckled saying,"I see why your father is so protective over you, but it's okay to make mistakes, Y/N. In a way, it is natural, but it will be all right as long as you learn from your mistakes. Your father does not expect you to be exactly like him, Y/N. He expects you to bring hope to other people, just like he does. Understand?"

I nodded and groaned saying,"Ohhh. Sorry, Uncle Buck, but I think I already failed being like Dad."

I heard someone say,"What is that supposed to mean, sweetheart?"

I turned and saw Dad. Dad stood behind me, and I already felt intimidated.

I looked at Uncle Buck for help, but Dad said,"Buck, if you help her, I can promise you that you are going to regret it."

Uncle Buck shut his mouth and sent me an apologetic look, before I nervously chuckled and said,"Dad, you know I love you, right?"

Dad sighed and said,"Y/N, please tell me you did not forge another love letter from me to Tony again. It is already awkward enough around your mother, while Tony keeps on calling me and complaining about how he does not return my love back for him."

I giggled and Dad sent me a look, before I cleared my throat and said,"You remember the guy that came over here and sort of called you trash compared to Uncle Tony?"

Uncle Buck laughed and Dad hit his shoulder, before Dad nodded saying,"Yes, what about him?"

I just came out with it saying,"We are dating."

Dad squeezed the table and took a deep breath saying,"Y/N, you are grounded. For the rest of your life."

I frowned and said,"Dad, you can't do that!!! Mom, already knows."

Mom walked into the kitchen and drunk her coffee saying,"Darling, really? How are you going to do your own mother like that? Does your father not know?"

Steve shook his head and looked at Mom saying,"No, I did not know. How long have you known this?"

Mom chuckled and said,"About a few months now. Relax, baby. Zach is a good kid. He has a point."

Uncle Buck and I both laughed, before Dad rolled his eyes and walked up the stairs.

I looked at Mom, and she said,"What? Your father needs to learn that not everyone likes him. Hey, your Uncle Tony has style, I will gladly admit that. Just give him a few hours and your father will be just fine. Is Zach busy today?"

I shook my head, and Mom grabbed my arm saying,"Good, because he is coming with us to the mall. I need someone that likes to hold my things and not complain. They also need to make good conversation. I would ask your father, but he is upset right now. I do not feel like going up there."

Sometimes, I wondered where Mom got her personality from, but it was entertaining to witness at times.

I chuckled and thanked Uncle Buck, before he smiled at me and nodded. I just smiled back and let Mom drag me out of the door. I hoped Dad was okay.
I was probably still going to be grounded when I got back, but hey, at least I got to go to the mall with Mom and Zach.
