    LOKI'S POV

"Y/N, you'll be wonderful, my dear."

Y/N had been practicing all day and night for her ballet performance tomorrow night. I knew she would do more amazing than any other mortal in the building, but I was not sure what I could do to help ease her anxiety.

Her E/C eyes met my own, and she said,"Thank you, Loki. That actually makes me feel better. I think I'm done now."

I double blinked, and I guess I had nothing else to say to her. She was fine with the one sentence I gave her.

I sent her a smile, and she asked me,"Is everyone else coming, too, Loki?"

"Yes. I told them they were free to come, given you would need their support. Thor immediately agreed to come."

Y/N giggled and kissed both of my cheeks, before she took my hand saying,"Let's go get dinner and get to bed early, so I'll have time to practice at least one more time tomorrow."

"Very well. Whatever you want, my love."

    Y/N'S POV

The next day, I was recharged and ready for my ballet performance.

Tony knocked on my door and said,"Y/N, we need to go now, if you want to get there early."

  "Okay. Thanks, Stark. And Tony?"

He stuck his head back inside my room, and I said,"You'll sit in the front, right?"

He sent me an encouraging smile and replied,"Yes. I couldn't possibly sit in the back. You'll do fine, N/N. Stop worrying. You've got this."

I jogged over to Tony and hugged him, holding on for a couple of seconds. He returned the hug and then left to get everyone to start heading out. I called Loki to let him know I was ready, and he appeared at my door.

He held out his arm and I linked my arm in his own, heading towards the performance building. Since it was so close, we walked there and Loki gave me some words of encouragement to keep me calm.
He always knew what to say to me, so it helped out a ton. I went over my number millions of times before, but this time was different. My family was here. I did not have anyone but the Avengers, so this meant the world to me to see them out there.

After Loki kept me calm, he gave me a good luck kiss and left to join everyone. I felt a boost of confidence and headed to the back to find my friends that were also performing.

..........

When I finally took the stage, I looked down and saw the Avengers sitting in the very front row. They cheered so loud, I lost my hearing for a couple of seconds.
When my hearing finally returned, I began my number and saw how happy Loki was. That smile of his encouraged me through the beginning of my routine, until I noticed Loki get up to leave. Steve and Clint let him through, before they sat back down.

I concentrated back on my routine and thankfully, I did not mess anything up. When it was over, the Avengers stood up and cheered like no one else could. However, Loki still was not back. I just put on a smile and bowed before I left the stage.

When the performance was over, I met with the group and Tony kissed my cheek saying,"Good job, kiddo! I'm proud of you. You were amazing! You were definitely the best one up there."

I whispered for Tony to be quiet after one of the moms looked upset. He just looked at her and back at me. I held back a giggle, and Loki walked up to me.

He held out roses, and I noticed he was getting down on one knee.

I gasped and handed the roses to Natasha. She looked confused, but she thanked me for them.

I lunged at Loki and yelled,"YES, YES!! JUST GIVE ME THE RING!!"

Loki chuckled and slid the ring on to my finger carefully. The Avengers all watched with amusement and satisfied grins.

I just said,"Loki, get ready for the best moments of your life."

He kissed my forehead and replied,"Oh, I have no doubt, Y/N. No doubt at all."
