Bucky x Reader

   Y/N'S POV

  Right now, I was walking with my older brother, Steve, towards the event that we had been invited to attend. Steve went to walk forward, but I grabbed his collar and pulled him back before a car sped by.

  Steve blushed in embarrassment, while I giggled saying,"Easy, Rogers. Do not worry. It takes some time to get back into the world."

  Steve nodded and went to apologize, but I waved it off. I held Steve's hand and tried to pull him inside the event, but Steve couldn't forget to open the door for me first.
  I smiled and thanked him, before I let go of Steve's hand and made my way through the crowd. I kept an eye on Steve, to make sure he did not get lost.

  Once we made it towards the back, I spotted Bucky talking to a couple of girls. Clearly, he was not flirting, so it did not really bother me. It seemed that Bucky had fans, and Steve smiled.

  Steve looked down at me and asked me,"Sis, are you all right?"

  I nodded, before I reached for Steve's hand. Steve smiled and held my hand.
  Bucky looked really nice. Steve chuckled and nudged me, before he guided me to Bucky.

  Once Bucky noticed me, his eyes immediately lit up.

  I smiled and went to hug him, but a random female appeared out of nowhere and twirled her hair saying,"Excuse me, do you want to dance?"

  I rolled my eyes and waited for her to stop talking.

  Bucky made me look at him, before he sent me a wink and said,"Sorry, but I owe my girl a dance."

  I blushed and smiled, letting Bucky lead me to the floor. He pulled me close and wrapped his arms around me, before I wrapped my arms around his neck.

  Bucky gave me multiple kisses and said,"So, how have you been, beautiful? I missed you."

  I smiled and decided to mess with Bucky by saying,"I missed you more, Barnes. Who were those girls you were talking to?"

  I giggled at Bucky's reaction, and then I pulled him in for a kiss. Bucky kissed back, while I cupped his face in between my hands.

  Bucky smiled in the kiss, before I heard Steve yell,"BUCK, SHE'S MY SISTER!"

  Steve jogged over to us, but Bucky leaned back in and mumbled,"An even better reason for me to kiss her harder."

  Steve sighed in defeat, which made me giggle. I kissed Bucky back, before I slowly pulled away. Bucky stared into my eyes, and I did the same to him. As I looked more into his eyes, I could see the pain in them.

  Bucky blinked looking away, and I knew he was holding in something. I led him over to the bar, before I handed him a drink. It wasn't alcohol or beer, I promise.
  Bucky kissed me in thank you, before I spotted Steve and Sharon dancing together. I smiled at the sight but felt protective over Steve for his own sake.

  I mean, losing Peggy was hard enough for him, but I did not want the same to happen with Sharon. Steve really cared about her. Bucky pulled me into his lap, and I leaned into his touch.

  Bucky rubbed my arms and said,"You know, I have been meaning to ask you something."

  I nodded and waited for Bucky's question. He smiled and kissed my nose, before he led me outside. Steve sent me a look, and I blew him a kiss in reassurance. Steve smiled and nodded, before he went back to join Sharon.

  Bucky led me towards the ledge, which caused my breath to quicken.

  He gently pulled me away and placed kisses on my face saying,"Baby, calm down. I am right here, okay? Just take a deep breath and hear me out."

  Bucky pulled me close and rested my hands on his chest saying,"I have wanted nothing more than to be able to be with you every single day. It gets pretty hard, though, when Steve gets jealous."

  I giggled at Bucky's joke, and he pulled me close.

  Bucky squeezed my hand and got down on one knee saying,"I may have given the worst speech ever, but I know that this is not a mistake. Y/N Rogers, will you marry me, please?"

  I knocked Bucky over, attacking him in kisses. Bucky kissed back and slowly let go, before he slid the ring on my finger. I smiled and kissed his jaw, before I leaned on his chest.

  Steve walked outside and joked saying,"What did I tell you about hitting on my sister, Buck?"

  Bucky chuckled and rubbed my back saying,"Not much, Rogers, not much. Though, I am the luckiest man in the world because of her. Your sister is amazing, and I'm looking forward to spending the rest of my life with her."

  I could not stop my tears from falling and pulled Bucky in for a hug.

  Bucky hugged back and kissed my cheek mumbling,"I love you, Y/N."

  I smiled and held him tighter saying,"I love you, too, Winter. I can't wait to be Mrs. Barnes."
