   Y/N'S POV

  "Barton, have you seen Steve?"

Clint shook his head and replied,"No, N/N, I haven't. Did you check with Fury or Nat?"

I shook my head and hugged Clint in thank you, before I rushed into Fury's office.

I spotted Steve and let out a sigh of relief.

Steve turned and chuckled, but Fury said in a joking manner,"Tired already, Y/N?"

I said,"Maybe. For your information, Fury, I work out. Well, I walk to work every day. That's my workout. Are you done with Steven?"

Fury nodded, and I grabbed Steve's hand.

I led him out of Fury's office, and he rested his hands on my shoulders saying,"What's wrong?"

I said,"My parents want to meet you."

Steve's face drained of color, and he walked with me saying,"W...Why?"

I chuckled saying,"They want to meet you, because you are my boyfriend. Don't sound so excited, Steve."

Steve said,"I'm not excited! I'm nervous! Darling, I want to marry you, but I can't do that if they don't like me."

I smiled at Steve's words and wrapped my arms around his neck saying,"Who wouldn't like you, Steve?"

Steve smiled at me, but Tony walked by saying,"I don't like you, Rogers."

I tripped Tony, and that was why his coffee wasted on the floor.

Tony rolled his eyes and said,"Y/N, why are you so mean?"

I said,"Because you insulted my boyfriend, Stark."

Tony got up saying,"Well, I meant it."

I went to attack Tony, but Steve held me back.

He said,"No, sweetheart. Thank you for trying to defend me. It's adorable. Are your parents coming here?"

I said,"Well, since Christmas is almost here, we are going to them. Makes it easier than them having to drive all the way here and giving them a chance to argue."

Steve led me to our room, before he let me get in the shower first.

While I was in the shower, Steve asked me,"Your parents argued a lot when you were growing up?"

I sighed and washed my hair out saying,"Yes. ALL the time. It is part of the reason I tried getting some of my aunts to help them, but they always managed to get back along. I guess arguing is just a part of their relationship, you know?"

Steve said to me,"Yeah, I guess, but at least you tried to help them. I wish my mother were still here."

I could hear the sadness in Steve's voice, before I rinsed off. I grabbed my towel and wrapped it around myself, then I carefully tried to step out of the shower. Steve took my hand, like a gentleman would, and kept me from slipping.
