James' POV
It's been 2 months since Y/N stormed out of our hotel room. It's been 2 months I had to go through questioning whether it was my fault or not. She knows the type of person I am, she knows the types of things I do. So I don't know why she trying to change me. And on top of that she started to talk about the countess and I. She said I'm her little puppy dog, which I believe is pure baloney. Yes, I am a bit...I have a bit of liking still left for he countess. But what does she expect from me? She was my first love.
Y/N has been spending an awful lot of time with John lately. I don't really come up to them and speak but I have been just watching. John's always making her smile or laugh, along with that druggie Sally. I've seen all three of them walk into 64 together. But i hope what I think happened didn't.
I walked to the main lobby and spotted Y/N and John sitting chairs leaning over the bar table while Liz made their drinks. Whatever John was saying to her must have been quite funny since she was laughing so much. I walked over to them to say hello.
"Good evening John, Liz...Y/N." I said flashing a smile at all of them.
Y/N shifted uncomfortably and looked towards the ground. John places his hand on her thigh and looked into her eyes and nodded his head as if telling her it's all right.
"Why so uncomfortably Y/N? Is my presence to much of a problem for you?" I said my eyes still focused on John's hand.
He noticed my eyes and removed his hand. Y/N refused to look at me.
"So how have the last two months been for you-"
"Will you piss off James?" Y/N yelled at out of nowhere.
He sudden outburst startled me a bit, as well as everyone else.
"Y/N I'd like to speak to you in private." I said as I stated at her until she finally looked into my eyes back.
"Whatever you have to say to me, you can say in front of everyone else." She said as she crossed her arms around her upper body.
"I've had these past 2 months to reflect on my actions, and I guess I was being a little...unreasonable."
"A little?" John said with a sarcastic laugh.
I looked at him. How dare he act like this towards me. I made his life have reason and this is how he repays me? He goes against me and steal my significant other.
"Y/N, I have been selfish and inconsiderate. I love you, the countess and I have nothing to do with each other any longer."
"Then why do obsess over her and why is she the center of your every action?"
"Y/N you are the center of my every action. I love you."
"So why couldn't you answer my question? Did you not love me then?" Y/N said raisin her voice a little louder. I couldn't say the wrong thing and unleash her short temper.
"No darling of course not-"
"Don't you dare call me darling." She said as her cute nose scrunched up. She looks adorable when she's angry. I couldn't help but smile.
"So you think this is a joke?" Y/N said standing up quickly, making her chair fall backwards onto the floor.
"No of course not Y/N."
"The countess is the whole reason I'm stuck in here for eternity! I'm stuck in this depressing awful horrible revolting shit hole!" She shouted.
"Ouch." Someone said as everyone's head turned to their direction. I could hear that voice from a mile away and recognize who it was.
Y/N's POV
"Ouch." Someone said and I instantly knew who is was.
"That wasn't really pleasant of you to say little Y/N now was it?" The countess said as she walked towards my way.
I spotted James' staring at her which made the blood boil through my veins.
"Don't you even dare say my name." I said to her as I stated at her with pure hatred in my eyes.
"Well I've been hearing mine continuously these last few months. I just decided to come out from the shadows and see what everyone wanted me for."
"Nobody wants you here you psychotic bitch!" I shouted at her and John grabbed my hand and caressed it with his thumb.
"Let go of her John immediately." James' said while staring at our hands.
The countess turned her head quickly to face James.
"What's it your business anyway? As if you cared!" I shouted at Janes and held onto John's hand tighter.
"Yeah Mr.March. What's it to ya?" The countess said as she ran her hand over James' chest making me even angrier. I was squeezing the hell out of John's hand, but at the moment I honestly couldn't care less.
"I might be dead, but I still have some humanity left in me. But I didn't, I would've murdered your skank ass a long time ago." I said to her and she chuckled.
"Y/N-" James started but I ignored him.
"You're the reason I'm stuck in here. Why did you do it? What the hell did I do to deserve what you did to me?!" I screamed at the countess as I felt the tears start to run down my cheeks.
"Oh honey you're a mess. You should calm down a bit. Oh and you really wanna know why I shot you? I was looking for some fun." That's it.
I grabbed the bottle opener off the counter and went to stab the countess in the neck but John grabbed my arms and pulled me into him holding me back.
"I hate you I fucking hate you!" I screamed her as I cried.
"Enough!" James's yelled causing everyone to stay quiet. You couldn't hear a word besides John's heavy breathing and my crying.
"You've done enough." James said to the countess. She looked at him shocked.
"Did I love you at one time? Would I do anything for you at one time? Yes. But not any longer my love. For you broke my heart. And you feel no remorse and you can never show any kind of I live for Y/N. She's my one and only. And I will not just stand by while someone is upsetting her. Especially if that someone is you." James said to the countess.
I just stared at him with shock in my eyes. Is this really happening?"
"I want nothing to do with you any longer. You walk your path and I'll walk mine. But you'll be forever alone and I'll always have my love right beside me." James said looking straight at me.
I let go of John's hand as James started to walk towards me.
"Y/N I'm sorry for all the tears I caused to fall from your beautiful eyes. I'm sorry for every time I've mistreated you and didn't give the attention you deserved-"
"James listen to your-" the countess begun
"Silence!" James yelled at her.
"And to answer your question Y/N. If you and that whore as you would say were drowning in the middle of the ocean. Without a second thought, I'd dive in and save you."
