Olivia's POV

Why would she ever think that? It's not her fault. I pulled Jordan closer as she sobbed quietly. I ran my hand through her hair.

"Never ever think that it's your fault." She nods and nuzzled into me. I lay her down on her bed. "Do you want me to sleep with you tonight?" I ask.

She nods and I go under the blankets with her. She falls asleep quickly and the moon peaks into the windows.

I can't fall asleep so I quietly uncover myself. I grab her notebook and scribble down a note saying that I went for a walk.

I end up walking up to one of the towers. I see that man who pushed Jordan. I sigh and begin to walk back down the stairs.

"I'm sorry 'bout pushing your sis back there." He says. I look back up at him. "For pushing ya too." I walk back up the stairs.

"Sorry about slapping you, I'm just overprotective." He nods. "I can respect that."

I sit down by him "I'm Olivia by the way." He pulls out a pack of cigarettes. "Daryl."

He pulls out one of the cigarettes and lights it. He hands me the pack. "I don't smoke anymore." I say.

Like I said before, I was depressed, so I started smoking. "You sure?" Daryl asks.

I pull out one of the cigarettes from the box and he lights it for me. I inhale the smoke then exhale it.

Jordan's POV

I woke up in a cold sweat. I've been having nightmares ever since 6 years ago. That's what made me stop talking. Olivia doesn't even know why I stopped talking. I feel really bad about it. I looked around and saw my notepad.

There was a note and it was Olivia's hand writing. I sat up in bed and rested my head on the concrete wall. I softly cried. I hated living with this burden on me.

There was a knock on the wall. I stopped crying and wipe my eyes. I looked up and I saw Beth.

"I heard you crying so I thought I'd come check on you." She smiled kindly.

I nodded my head. I grabbed my notepad and pen in case she wanted to ask any questions.

"Are you okay?" She asked first.

I didn't need to write anything, all I did was nod my head.

"Did you have a nightmare?" She questioned.

I nod my head again.

"Wanna tell me what it was about?" She asked.

I shook my head.

"It might make you feel better. I won't tell anyone, I promise." She said sweetly.

I sighed and began to write my story. Hopefully Olivia wouldn't be a snoop and read it. I showed Beth and she gasped.

"That happened when you were only 7?!" She whispered.

I nodded my head.

"Is that why you don't talk?" She asks sadly.

I nod my head.

"He is one disgusting son of a bitch!" Beth growled.

I'm going back to bed, night. I wrote on my notepad and handed it to Beth.

"Okay, night sweetheart." She kissed my forehead and left.

I laid back down and closed my eyes. Images flash across my mind as I fight my past and my memories in a losing battle.
