Lost

Chapter 5/ Jordan & Olivia

Olivia's POV

Each occasional bump kept me awake. I stared at the trees as we drove to the nearest town. Daryl and Rick were talking but I couldn't hear them.

All I could think about was how this happened. Why did this happen? Would Jordan and I have met this people if this didnt happen?

We pulled into a parking lot of a hunting store. We got all got out of the truck. "Okay, so just grab anything that may seem useful." Rick said as he handed me a bag.

I nodded and looked in the glass door of the hunting shop. There was about three roamers. I looked behind me and Rick nodded.

I opened the door and the little bell above me dinged. The roamers turned and looked at me. I grabbed my knife and walked over to one of them.

I plunged the knife into it's skull and it dropped to the floor. Daryl and Rick got the other two. I got off the floor and looked in the aisles.

I found a few boxes of ammunition. I looked around and saw a pile of ripped apart boxes. I walked over to it and moved them around.

Underneath was a beautiful bow. I picked it up and weighed it in my hands. It was quite light, I pulled the string and felt that it was nice and tight.

"Anyone got any arrows?" I asked.

Jordan's POV

I woke up, breathing heavily. It was so real. I got out of my bed, grabbed my notepad along with my pen and walked out of my cell. I walked to the cafeteria, looking for Beth.

Maybe reading could do me some good. I saw Carl and a few other people that I don't know. I walked towards Carl. I wrote down something on my notepad and showed him.

Where's Beth?

"She's in the library." Carl rolled his eyes as if it should be obvious.

Where's that? I write and showed him with a small smile.

"Ask someone that wants to tell you." Carl snapped as he got up and walked away.

I was taken aback but I saw Maggie walk into the cafeteria. I walked over to her and pulled on her shirt. I scribbled down some words and showed her.

Where's the library?

"Follow me." She smiled.

We walked down some dark halls and eventually arrived at the library.

Thanks. I wrote on my notepad and handed it to her.

"No problem." She said in her accent as she handed my my notepad an walked away.

I opened the library doors and walked in. I saw Beth with a book, sitting on a sofa. I walked over to her and wrote something on my notepad.

Does there happen to be a book in here called 'Wonders never cease'? I scribbled.

"Yup, wait here." She smiled as she got up and went to find my book.

I sat on the sofa, playing with my fingernails. Beth came back and handed me the book. I smiled in thanks. I opened the book and began to read.

Eventually I got tired and bookmarked my page. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

Olivia's POV

We went to a grocery store and found some food but not that much. The sun started to set so we were going to head back to the prison.

The guys were ahead of me because I paused to take a breather. "Wait u-" I was cut off by somebody covering my mouth.
