I smiled at him as I cried. As he comforted me, his phone rang.

For a moment, he looked at the screen and said, "I'll just answer this, okay? I'll be back."

He patted my head before heading outside.

Although I shouldn't be eavesdropping or anything, I could hear his voice.

"I'm busy, okay? Don't disturb me."

For a moment, I also thought he's busy because of me.

As Soraru went inside the room, I realized that I was crying.

"Wh-who was that?" I asked, not looking at him.

"Is that Lon-chan?"

I looked at him and saw him flinch. I removed the blanket over me before looking into his eyes. "Tell me, Soraru-san, did you cheat on me?"

"N-no... th-that's not what you think-"

"Ah, really?" I asked as I sat in the edge of the bed. "From what I heard... your voice was really loud... you had a one-sided relationship with her, right?"

Why do I keep hurting myself? I thought as I weeped.

"M-Mafu, it's not like-"

"I... I thought you never left me?" I asked as I stood and looked at him. "Y-you lied."
