- A Love Story Like Everyone Else's (10 | END) -

Three days after what Mafu said, they haven't much had contact.

But they still saw each other publicly but...

Whenever Soraru and Mafu saw each other (even just a glance), Mafu would immediately run away even though Soraru tried to approach him slowly.

Even though it's been bothering Soraru everyday, there's been one thing that bothered Soraru the most; Mafu's smile has been in his head for almost forever (not literally).

But now, it's time to fix this.

Soraru went to Mafu's house and rang the doorbell, waiting quite impatiently. The door slightly opened, revealing a pair of beautiful red eyes.

"S-Soraru-san?!" the albino behind the door shrieked.

"Mafu..."

"W-what are you doing here?!"

"I... needed and wanted to talk to you," Soraru replied as he walked close to Mafu's door. "Let me in."

"W-why should I?"

"I want to talk to you," Soraru said while averting his gaze. "I really want to talk to you."

"You can... tell me now."

"I wanna see your face."

"You... don't have to see my face just to tell me, y-you know," Mafu stuttered as his face turned red but apparently, Soraru couldn't see it.

Soraru let out a loud sigh and looked up at the ceiling. "Have you forgotten what you told me before?"

There was a long silence between them before Soraru decided to speak again.

"I have my answer," Soraru said.

Just as Soraru took a deep breathe and was about to speak when he heard someone clear his voice.

"Eh?" Mafu omitted.

"Mafu-kun," the guy said. "Why is he here again?"

"Why are you here?" Soraru asked.

"I'm here-"

"Luz-kun," Mafu said sternly as he went out of his apartment. "Stop it already."

"Stop what?"

"I said that we can't meet anymore," Mafu said as he looked down. "At the same time-"

"You two aren't even dating!" Luz pointed out.

Mafu flinched while Soraru walked beside Mafu and held his hand. "We are now," Soraru said firmly. He faced Mafu and leaned close to his ear. "I love you too."

Mafu's face turned red all of a sudden. "So-Soraru-san..." Mafu muttered as he gripped Soraru's jacket. "D-don't say those things... out here..."

"Well," Soraru said as he faced Luz. "It looked like someone needed proof anyways."

Luz gritted his teeth. "Mafu-kun loved me first!"

"Eh? Weren't you the one who confessed?"

"Yeah but-"

"Leave," Soraru said as he walked towards Mafu's apartment door, still holding Mafu's hand. "You've got no business with my boyfriend."

Soraru pulled Mafu inside the apartment and closed the door behind them. "Soraru-san..." Mafu mumbled. "Is that what you wanted to-"

Soraru couldn't hold back any longer. He crashed his lips against Mafu's, making the albino stop talking. Soraru parted after a while and stuck his forehead against Mafu's. "Sorry, I couldn't hold back."

"It's okay..." Mafu said with a smile. "I'm glad you returned the feelings I had."

"I still wonder why I fell for you, but I did," Soraru said, pecking Mafu's nose. "Hey..."

"Soraru-san, I love you."

"I love you too, you little idiot."

Four years later

It was 3AM and Mafu was awake.

He was looking up at the ceiling, sighing. He glanced at the raven-haired male beside him, who was sleeping peacefully.

I finally got what I want, huh? The love life that's completely different from my past relationships. The type of relationship I'd never give up with-

"Nn..." Soraru omitted as he shifted his body a bit and wrapping his arm around Mafu's waist.

Mafu turned to look at the older male and smiled. "I'll be happy forever," Mafu emitted. "Even if forever doesn't exist."

"This love will last long... until we die."
