"Woah, you sure became cold," Amatsuki said after Mafu told the story of what happened between him and Soraru in the park. "Aren't you going to apologize?"

"He... told me not to run to him anymore..." Mafu replied as he cried even harder. "I still love him, Amatsuki-kun. I still do. A-and it hurts... it hurts to love someone so long..."

"So you haven't moved on?" Amatsuki asked with a small smirk in his face.

"S-so what if I haven't?!" Mafu asked, wiping the tears away.

"Geez, Mafu... why don't you just let go of him already?"

Mafu froze. Let go? Let go of Soraru? After all the years the feelings Mafu held, he has to let all those go? The feeling of being guilty for breaking up with Soraru without a reason; the feeling of loving Soraru for seven years; the feeling of being lonely without Soraru by his side, does he have to let all that go? Does that include forgetting the memories he had with Soraru?

Can Mafu actually do all that?

"Forget... Soraru-san...?" Mafu asked, slowly looking up at Amatsuki and showing a painful expression. His eyes were filled with tears. "How...? Amatsuki-kun, how can I do that?"

"Mafu-kun," Amatsuki said as he frowned and approached Mafu for a hug. "If you can't forget him, I understand. I know you two spent a lot and good memories together and it's not that easy to forget. But if you're willing to run back to him and apologize about earlier, I won't stop you, even though he said not to."

"What... a-about my feelings?"

"Save that for later," Amatsuki said with a reassuring smile. "He might end up hating you if you did say that you still love him."

"Thank you," Mafu said, wiping his tears away. "But I'm gonna let today pass."

Soraru placed his hands in his face, thinking about earlier. "He's just faking," Soraru muttered under his breath. "I should've known."

Then I wouldn't have said something so stupid like not running back to me, Soraru thought as tears started to form in his eyes. Because I want to see you run back to me, saying you're sorry and saying that you still love me...

"Mafu, I love you."
