The two of you ran. To Jungkook, the run was nothing and only felt like doing one lap around their gym in school while you felt like you just ran a marathon. This little experience reminded you of your past with him.
It was then he finally stopped. You were panting like you've never panted before. Deep breaths in and out. You and Jungkook stopped in front of a fenced garden. Many kinds of assorted flowers surrounded a large tree in a middle, a pathway of stones leading to it.
Jungkook smiled and walked closer. You watched him as Jungkook walked confidently towards the tree, staring at a very specific place on the ground. Walking beside him, you looked forward and noticed a tombstone that you could have easily missed due to the minimum amount of light.

"Jungkook," you said, almost in a whisper.
Looking at the boy, you could see him smile. "Ji Hyun-ah," he paused to inhale, still tired out from that long run. "Meet my dad."

You just blinked for a second, still processing the fact that Jungkook just basically introduced you to his role model, the guy that he usually wouldn't stop talking about. You were about to say something but Jungkook beat you to it.

"Dad, this is Ji-Hyun, my best friend," he smiled.

You were seeing a totally different side of Jungkook right now which amazed you. A side that you haven't seen in a long time. For ten years.
Smiling back at him as he turned towards the tombstone, you held his hand. A bold move for someone like you. You squeezed his hand and you felt him to the same but tighter, like he was never planning on letting you go.

"My parents used to hang out here on this very spot when they were young," he began. "My mom told me that this tree here gave them a lot of memories."

Jungkook tugged your hand, motioning you to follow. The two of you ended up on the other side of the tree. Right there you saw something engraved on the tree that seemed a little faded. You walked closer to see what it said just out of curiosity.

Ji Yong X Min Seo

It was a cute sight to see that after all these years the words that were engraved by a sharp tool on that tree was still there. It was romantic.
Noticing other words engraved below the couple's names, you saw very familiar words that you recognized perfectly.

Together we are bulletproof.

You turned to Jungkook and as if he read your mind, he pointed at your necklace. "That used to be my mom's necklace." He said as a matter of fact and then he pointed at him own necklace. "And this used to be my dad's."

You were speechless. Jungkook didn't seem like he changed at all. He was just like he was back then when you two were still young.

"Jungkook... I don't know what to say..." you said, holding onto your necklace with your other hand that wasn't holding tightly onto his.
The boy smiled. "You don't have to say anything, I just wanted to show you all these because..." there was a still pause, "...because I felt like it." He giggled.
"Thanks," you smiled.
He smiled back and looked up to the sky in awe. He pointed upwards noticing something glide through the sky. "Look! A shooting star."

Looking up, you saw it. There it was, a single star gliding swiftly in the sky then disappearing the next moment. The feeling of your hand getting cold immediately told you that Jungkook let go. You tilted your head back down only to see Jungkook stand in front of you with a smile on his face.
He lifted his hands, cupping your cheek in them. You could feel your cheeks heat up at the sudden contact. There was a moment of silence once more, no one said a word. You were too occupied on Jungkook. His eyes sparkling from the moonlight that casted over them.

Has he always looked this handsome?

You felt him come closer towards your face. Before you knew it, you felt his forehead on yours, his lips on inches away from you. You noticed him smile for a moment as he leaned in, pressing his lips against yours.
You can feel your heart intensely beat like a drum. This as actually happening. Having your first kiss with the guy that you fell in love with ten years ago. Never have you thought that this day would actually come but it did.
As Jungkook pulled away, you quickly covered your face, knowing that you were probably as red as a tomato. You felt him suddenly grab your hands, pulling them away from your face.

"Don't do that. It's cute when you blush." He said.

Hearing him say those words made you blush even more and you couldn't help but bury your face in his chest. You felt his hand slowly caress your long hair.

"Welcome back, Ji Hyun."
"Glad to be back, Jungkook."

You stayed over at Jungkook's house once more. You've been there many times already that it felt like you were actually living there, though you weren't.
Really needing to go to the bathroom, you opened the door to see Jungkook half-naked once again. It was déjà vu.

"Jeez Jungkook! Learn how to wear a freaking shirt when you have guests around," you said, covering your eyes.
"Jungkook!" you heard his mother yell from the kitchen. "Go find a shirt!"

You couldn't help but laugh. Honestly, you were still a bit jealous of Jungkook for having a parent like her.

Jungkook sighed as he walked towards his room. "Nice of you getting your boyfriend in trouble." He snickered and closed the door behind him.
Your eyes widened hearing his words. "B-boyfriend?" you stuttered.
