Thanks again for letting me stay," you smiled at Minseo as you took a spoonful of rice in your mouth.
Jungkook, who is sitting beside you on the table, laughed at your words. "More like making you stay," he commented and turned to his mother. "Umma, I can't believe you made her stay when she already has a place of her own."
Minseo just shrugged. "I missed Ji Hyun sleeping here."
"She slept here less than a week ago-"
She cut him off, totally going off topic. "So I heard Taehyung is in love with a girl named Chanmi," she smiled.
You took a short glance at Jungkook, can't help but let out a little giggle seeing him pout. Nodding your head, you smiled back at his mother. "Yeah, we met her a few days ago, apparently she goes to the same school as us."
"School..." Jungkook suddenly murmured aloud.
Minseo's eyes widened at the realization. "That's right, school's just right around the corner."
"One week left of freedom."
"Hey, Jungkook, don't say that. At least be happy that you're going to the same school with Ji Hyun," she smiled then stood up, her empty dish in her hands as she takes it to the kitchen sink. "Kookie, don't forget to wash the dishes, okay? Now, I have to go to the café and do my work." Hurriedly, she kissed Jungkook's head as she passed him and waved at you goodbye. She picked up her purse on the couch then went out the door, leaving you and Jungkook all alone in the house.
"Bye mom..." Jungkook murmured silently, his head hung low.
Confused, you tilted your head to the side and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Is everything okay?" you asked.
He shook his head frantically. "No, no. Nothing is okay!"
His tone of voice made you worried. "What are you talking about?"
"Her birthday. It's in four days and I still haven't found a present for her yet."
You couldn't help but smile at him. "Aw, that's so cute! Hey, why don't we got to the mall later and pick out a gift for your mom?"
"Fine," he said with a sigh then stood up, picking his empty plate and yours. "Let me was these first."

Following him to the kitchen, you decided to help him out. The thought of him that he cared so much for his mother that he's even stressing about her birthday present was so sweet and cute, it made you all warm and fuzzy inside.
Rinsing the plates that Jungkook washed, you couldn't help but smile and have random thoughts about him. Would a life with Jungkook be like this? Peaceful, sweet and relaxing. Other than the events that occurred in the past, everything was all lovey-dovey between the two of you. I hope we'll be together forever-

"Yah," your boyfriend said in a monotone voice, taking the side sprayer from your hands and pointed it right at you.
His actions cut you off from your thoughts. "Jungkook, don't point that thing at me," you said, eyes widened.
"What happens if I press this button here?" he giggled, totally having a blast with this. He better stop threating you with that sprayer.
"Jungkook, no, please." You held your hands up as if you were being under arrest and he laughed. "Seriously Jungkook, don't."
The boy grinned devilishly and pressed the button lightly, a shower of water spraying towards you but not enough that it soaked your clothing. "Whoops," he then smiled innocently.

You suddenly bolted towards the sprayer in his hands, grabbing it from him successfully. Now he was the one who was powerless. He put his hands out in front of you, his eyes widened as he slowly backed away from you.

"N-now, now, Ji Hyun, there's no need for you to-" his words got cut off after his back hit the counter while he was backing away. "Shit..." he swore under his breath.

Showing no mercy, you just grinned and pressed the silver button, water spraying all over his shirt. You couldn't help but laugh at how he tried to defend himself with a dish towel but it was not enough. Letting go of the button, Jungkook was now soaking wet with a look of revenge in his eyes.

"Oh! You are in big trouble now, Park Ji Hyun," he said, exaggerating your name.

Coming closer towards you, you instinctively pressed the silver button again on the sprayer, another shower of water heading towards Jungkook. In a swift movement - not even caring that coming closer to you would only get him even wetter - he spun you around, your back against his damp chest.

Taking the sprayer from your hands, he pointed the silver object at you. "Any last words?" he asked, his chin resting on the top of your head and his arms around your body. You can just feel his abs through his shirt. The thought made you blush.
"I-"
As you were about to speak, he cut you off with a laugh. "As much as I want to spray water on you, I won't do it... next time..." he said mysteriously and let go of you, putting the side sprayer back in the sink.
"Wait a minute. 'Next time'?"
Jungkook completely ignored you. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go take a shower or else I'll catch a cold," he smiled at you brightly.
"O-Okay..."

About 10 Minutes Later

"Yah! Jeon Jungkook! Your hair is still wet!" you scolded him as he walks around the living room.
He sighed, looking a bit annoyed. "It'll dry."
"No!" you immediately snapped back at him. Taking his arm, you took him to the bathroom to dry his hair.
"Ji Hyun you don't have to-"
"Sit." You demanded and he sat on the tiled floor in front of you in the bathroom, following your orders obediently like a little dog.

For being in this house many times, you knew exactly where everything is placed. Grabbing Jungkook's towel on one of the towel racks, you dried his hair. His hair was fluffy, it reminded you of a dog's. Your hands brushed off against his ears and they felt a bit hot. Leaning a bit forward, you took a small glance at him. He was blushing.

"There! All done!" you grinned, your eyes smiling as well as you looked at Jungkook.
He didn't respond for moment. Turning around, you can see that his face was red like a tomato. It was so cute it was almost impossible not to squish the life out of him. "T-thanks."
