I don't have any plans today and Grace just left so I'm already extremely bored. I promised Grace I would call her soon. I guess now is a good time.

The phone rings for a few seconds before she picks up.

"Hey Grace! Did you make it home okay?" I ask.

"Yeah, I'm okay!" she replies.

"Sorry, I'm just bored." I reply, laughing.

"Angie and Sophia are here at the park, you can come if you want!" Grace answers.

She gives me the directions and I say, "I'd love to!"

I hang up and get ready to leave. I stop at Subway to grab some food for us.

A few minutes later, I arrive at the small, but nice park. I spot Grace and her friends as I pull into the parking lot area.

Angie takes the sandwiches out of my hands and I smile at her.

Grace runs up to me and I give her a hug. The two of us walk over to the tree and take a seat on the blanket.

Sophia plays some music and Grace comes over to sit next to me. I put my arm around her shoulder and she rests her head on my chest.

Angie and Sophia start teasing us and yell, "Grace and Misha sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"

Grace gets embarrased, but starts giggling. I start to sing the second verse to make her laugh. She looks up at me and our lips are inches apart. When Sophia and Angie aren't looking, I lean in and kiss her.

Grace looks surprised, but starts smiling so big I can see her cute dimples. I laugh and hold her tighter.

After a while, Grace's friends head home, but she wants me to come to her house. By now, it's 2:30, and it goes from mild morning to sweltering hot afternoon.

"Misha, before you come to my house, you might wanna get your bathing suit." Grace says.

"Oh, ok. I'll go get it and meet you at your house." I reply, heading towards my car.

I drive to my house real quick and run up to my room. I open one of my drawers and pull out my swimming shorts.

When I get to Grace's house, she is waiting on her front porch.

"Hey!" she greets me and guides me to her backyard.

She has a pretty big yard surrounded by a wooden fence, and in the middle a pool.

"You wanna change in the bathroom? I'll show you where it is." Grace says, leading me into the bathroom.

"I'll be changing up in my room, meet you outside."

I quickly get dressed and walk back outside. Grace comes out a minute later in a batman bikini. I saw that at Hot Topic..Yes, I shop at Hot Topic.

Her pool has a little slide and a diving board. And a ton of pool toys.

Her parents are outside working in the yard when they first notice me.

"Oh hey Misha!" Grace's mom says, clearly excited. I give her a hug (knowing she's a fan) and I see her dad.

"Hello!" I say to him, shaking his hand. He greets me, smiling.

"Hope you don't mind if I hang out here." I reply.

"No it's fine!" her mom exclaims. I grin and run over to Grace, seeing she's already in the pool.

We jump in a few times, go down the slide, and play with all the toys. It feels like we're little kids again.

Grace brings her waterproof camera underwater so we can take a picture. She holds it out and we quickly pose. We face each other and I give her a kiss. She laughs underwater, almost making her choke.

We swim up and check out the picture. We both laugh hysterically, because we totally failed at trying to take a cute picture.

She brings out rafts, and even though they're made for one person, we squeeze together on one. Our shoulders are pressed together. I wrap my arm around her and pull her close to me. I kiss her forehead.

I honestly don't know what we are anymore. Are we dating? I just kissed her once, now we keep kissing. It's so confusing. And we just met!

Anyways, we dry off and sit down, our toes in the pool. There's one big towel wrapped around are backs.

"So, what are the two of us?" I ask, barely audible.

"What do you mean?" she replies, her eyebrows furrowed.

"Like, are we together..or not?" I ask, a smile creeping onto my face.

"Whatever you want." she answers, grinning.

"Well, I want you to be my girlfriend."
