Ch218-A Shift

Monday

Aphmau's P.O.V.

BEEP

Hooray Monday. I don't even want to bother thinking at all today but I should probably get ready. Nahhh I don't need and education. But wait if I make millions and billions of dollars. I will need to count all that money. I think I knew a girl named Alexia who could do all that for me. I'll just stay at home and watch YouTube.

Anyway I should get ready for today before I am late for school. I get up and go to the bathroom. I take a shower and I use my strawberry shortcake body wash. I love how this smells. I smell like a little strawberry.

I get out of the shower and I dry off. I get dressed in a white, lacy sleeveless shirt that goes up to my lower back, a pair of black jeggings and silver shoes. I brush my hair and I pull it into a side ponytail.

I apply mascara, eyeliner and Oreo lipgloss. I spray on some perfume and I brush my teeth. When I feel good about how I look I go out to the kitchen. I make breakfast for Celestia Shadow and I.

When I have finished with breakfast I pack my school bag with everything I will need. When I have everything I play with my dogs until I have to go. I love playing with Celestia and Shadow before school. It is always so fun.

I will probably give Shadow back to Gene because Gene seems to be changing. He is much nicer and he helped me when I was really badly injured. I'm still angry at him for everything he has done but he is changing and everyone deserves a second chance.

I'm going to miss Shadow a lot because he is such a good dog. Celestia is also really cute but she is always going to be me. But Shadow does belong to Gene and he needs to go back eventually. I don't want to take someone's dog away from them.

Eventually I need to go to school so I say goodbye to my dogs and I head off to school. While I'm walking I look at the sky and it is a cloudy day. It is almost summer so I'm a little confused. Shouldn't the sky be clear or only a few clouds, not dark grey.

I get to school and I go to my locker. While I'm at my locker I suddenly feel a shift in the school atmosphere. It's like someone bad is here. I don't think much of it because it's probably just Ivy and Missy doing something stupid. They always are.

It's a Monday morning, no way anyone would have a plan against someone on a Monday morning. No one would be able to wake up early enough for it. I'm sure it is nothing I need to worry about and if it is then Lucinda would have messaged me.

I go to class and I sit down next to Laurance and Aaron. Gene is also in our class and he is sitting in the back with Zenix and Sasha. They usually ditch school but when they do come then they always are in the same class.

The teacher comes in and begins explaining the task. I zone out and stare at the clock. I suddenly feel a bigger shift in the atmosphere. No one else has noticed the shift but it feels really strong. I'm finding it harder to breath. I concentrate on breathing and suddenly we hear a few really loud crashes.

The teacher stops the lesson and pokes her head out of the class. She suddenly turns very pale and tells us that we need to evacuate immediately. She takes us out of the classroom and everyone is evacuating to the gym.

My group, the popular boys and Katelyn's group all sneak off. I also noticed that Gene and the shadow Knights left. We look around the school and eventually find a massive group of shadow Knights. Like there had to be at least 50. They are shadow Knights as in Genes group not the type from the nether.

"Wow that is a lot of shadow knights" Cadenza says

"That has to be at least 4" Ross says

"Well you're not wrong" I say

We can hear what they are saying. Wait I wonder if Gene has anything to do with this. I hope he doesn't because I was hoping he has changed. Gene walks up to the shadow Knights and talks to them.

Gene's P.O.V.

I'm not really sure why some of my followers from the shadow Knights are here. I don't think I told them to come here. I ask them and they say they are here because they want to fight Aphmau. Apparently I said that they need to kill Aphmau but I didn't.

Someone in the shadow Knights is secretly working against me. I don't know who it is though. We hear a rustle in the bushes and I see Aphmau. Oh no she is going to think I was in charge of this. Aphmau is going to be so upset. I look into her eyes and she has a look of betrayed I them.

The shadow Knights launch at her before I can tell them not to. Lucinda quickly jumps into action and she gets them with some potions. Ivana is shapeshifting. I didn't know that she could shape shift.

Laurance, Garroth, Vylad, Zane and Jeffory are fighting some of the Shadow Knights in hand to hand combat. Aphmau looks at me and she uses her ice powers to turn the floor into ice. She freezes a few people and while her back is turned I notice that someone is sneaking up behind her.

Luckily Katelyn notices and she knocks out the guy. When all the shadow Knights are defeated Aphmau I freezes me. Her friends and her walk away and I try to talk to Aphmau.

Aphmau's P.O.V.

I am walking away and Gene tries to talk to me. He grabs my arm and I pull my arm away. I tell my friends that they can go and I will be fine. I want to hear what Gene has to say for himself.

"Aphmau, I swear I didn't know about that" Gene says

"But they said you told the, to" I say

"Someone is secretly working against me" Gene replies

"That's believable" I say turning around

I leave Gene alone. I feel really stupid for believing someone like Gene could change. He tried to kill me once and he has tried again. He just wanted to get close to me so he could learn my weaknesses.

Gene's P.O.V.

I need to show Aphmau that I had noting to do with this. What can I do to show her? I need to think about this for a while. But I'm sure I will figure out something.
